Hanna van Vliet is a Golden Calf nominated actress and creator, graduated in Drama and Contemporary Music Theater at the Amsterdam University of the Arts in 2014. She is selected as one of the European Shooting Stars 2022.
She plays the lead in the internationally acclaimed drama series ANNE+, which she also co- created. Hanna was nominated for a Golden Calf for “Best Actress in a drama series” (ANNE+) at the Netherlands Film Festival in 2020, and was nominated for a Musical Award twice (for Fiddler on the Roof and De Tweeling). ANNE+ has been nominated twice for the Prix Europe (2019, 2020).
The film ‘Quicksand’ with Hanna in the leading role premiered at the Netherlands Film Festival last year. The feature ANNE+ premiered in October 2021 and Lost Transport also with Hanna in the leading role will premiere this year. She is currently filming the high end drama series De Droom van de Jeugd.
Hanna is an advocate for a broad representation of female leads and queer characters in the (Dutch) film and TV landscape.
