Two very REAL down to earth people& so TALENTED! At first I didn't quite understand McQueen's suicide, now I do. Not saying that that's the right thing to do, but the more money he got and being with the Gucci group, the more unhappy he was😅I'm just guessing he had people telling him to do this& that👎 Also when Lee was talking about how there's no more fashion, music, and Art like there was back in the day, It's very true& for me very sad. I respect both Knight& McQueen for doing Amazingly interesting work, that is real and FUCK the power's that be!

Do people love you and truly support you? No. Only your family really loves you and supports you. Once you break into your own career path and make your own decisions. You quickly realize the people in the know and in the industry as a whole, just want to monopolize your great talents. Money is not exchanged unconditionally as love and deep appreciation are, oh no. When they commission you, they're really saying here, make us money with this wad of cash we are throwing your way. What's the difference is it from stock trading or property investment? The money from commissions comes with all too, too many conditions and ridged expectations. Why not give money to the artist to continue working, producing, thriving and able to enrich the world endlessly just by producing their original work they love so much? Why use them for a few seasons, make them miserable and spread them too thin?! Like, this is the House of Such & Such, with resident artist ................... or featuring new line by ................. That way it's about an honorarium as opposed to a job description full of BS expectations which causes depression and substance abuse, see where I'm getting at? The world won't support Lee by having just a Lee McQueen House of Fashion, it doesn't generate enough funds to sustain., because art doesn't churn out as a factory churns out twingkies assembly line style NO!! ART moves through the artist in waves, ebbs and flows. The industry doesn't like that it needs to excessively grow and profit from as little an investment as possible, so they hire designers to solely make their House look good and reap the profits, they don't care if you're happy, healthy or a working poor and homeless !!!!??? Do they ???!!!! Still happening.
