funny i was ok with Jenny's death but i literally cried when Dana died

I couldn't be happier with this. The anger that filled my little heart every time Jenny was on screen was almost too much for me. I'm glad somebody felt my pain.

No one killed Jenny, she killed herself. She was selfdestructive since the beginning, you dont need a full character analysis to see that. This show always always made it all seem real. So its not because jenny pulled a jenny, that someones going to kill her. None of these girls, that weve grown to love and hate throughout those 6 years, could kill. Its not bette, because if she felt guilty and bad about ending it with Jodi's, then she couldnt live with ending someones life.

I cried when Dana died, and I'd cry if this was any of the other girls, but Jenny? No emotion

After all this years l still find hilarious how so many hate Jenny character.. hate on the writers, they create and made her go crazier as the seasons goes on..also kudos to Mia Kirshner for playing her with such grace even when the plot and character arc didn't make any sense at all

Jenny was My favourite.

I hated the ending for several reasons.. 1) You never find out who killed Jenny 2) I feel the ending should sum up the whole show, having some sort of meaning. It was about friendship and relationships and sex but it all circled around friendship to me. The fact that they ended it with her death just kind of threw all the rest of the seasons away to me. It was like Jenny’s death turned the point of the show into some murder case and at the end they all dramatically walked out of being questioned like it was fucking Pretty Little Liars, it was wrong and threw the movement of the shows logic into a whole other realm which was ( in my opinion ) the directors weakest choice. 3) Every character seems to change up. I never understood, even throughout the build up of Jenny’s death how quick everyone changed up on her or showed little emotion towards her death, hence Shane being angry when telling the detective that she kept making choices for both of them and kept saying “we”. Like wouldn’t you still be shocked over her death instead of ranting? And even though it was made obvious that Jenny had done something to pretty much each of them in the last episode to direct the audience that one of them possibly could’ve killed her for any of those reasons, the last episode was very weird, just their energy towards her. 4) “Jenny’s a bitch” this shit I’m tired of hearing. Yes obviously her character is supposed to be this stubborn girl who wants to do things her way and has the tendency to act like a “bitch” but what people also tend to leave out when they say this about her is that Jenny is mentally ill. I mean she was cutting herself and even went to get help in an episode, and though this doesn’t excuse her behavior it’s a great deal to why her character acted the way she did. No she wasn’t a person who wanted to ruin people just because. She did care about the people she was around who she befriended. And I believe there is a complex between mentally ill people who tend to want to do what’s good and be kind but also struggle with their issues and I feel this was the case with her. But she also had logic in some of the things she did that they were mad at, at the end. Like hiding the films from Tina, I mean it was her movie, her idea and they were going to take it right from under her. And with Bet and Tina, I believed she didn’t want Tina to get hurt again but also her wanting to expose Bet was her way of helping, whether or not it was thought through her intention was somewhat good, at least for Tina ( so she thought ). And Shane fucking cheated on her with her ex and so she did what any other girl did if they found out that happened to them, and she kept whatever that girls name was from getting her letter to Shane. 5) Because of Jenny having mental illness, I feel the ending was a result of that and her actions were definitely part of her mental illness and I feel like the end of this season kind of just shed a bad light on people who may be just like her and have mental illnesses that make them function in way different ways than other people around them. And mental illness is never betrayed us something that can be something you can successfully live through in the media, society, films just everything. And for someone who’s actually been in situations like these that very much happened in real life to where I’ve lost friends and almost lost them for more than one time, someone who’s struggled through people thinking differently of them because of their very backwards social and mentally ill self, it pains me to see the isolation of this issue and how it kind of just ends here. And yes real life is mostly this, but I see it everywhere and there isn’t one movie or show that shows that people can recognize someone with this kind of mental illness and act in a way that shows concern for either the person who has it or for themselves and taking a step back. Shane helped her to get help which was great, and no they weren’t obligated to help her. But if they could at least talked her through this or something it would’ve been better than what I saw in the last episode. Jenny even looked as if she knew she screwed up and it was time to go, whatever that meant to her. The whole vibe was weird and sad, I hated it.

I can't agree with you more. Jenny is also my favorite character since from season 1. Everyone who despises Jenny for her flaws, states their opinions about her, like they don't have their own flaws at all... I can't put it into words, but all I can really say is, Jenny has the most deepest and meaningful story among the characters. She's like a fiction and a story itself! The rest of the characters' story is all about... cheating and.... basically the same.

this is the only show that the main character's death didn't make me upset, I don't like Jenny tbh, she's so annoying and psycho a little bit, she's cute tho !

The L Word Reboot is long overdue, I hated the way it ended. It Frustrated the hell out of me. I do hope the original cast play a big part in the reboot. Though times have changed I feel they were great characters. I love love love Bette and Tina, they really did it for me...and being a straight women they really made me want to try love with a women. Even though the cast are a little older who cares.- we want them all back. Can't wait for the new season. . Watched seasons 1-6 again now awaiting season 7....😬😬😬

They killed the most interesting character on the show, season 6 sucked!! I'm sorry but they made jenny look so bad, the stories didn't even make any sense! I hated it, even the actors were tired of all of it, they didn't even give us a decent final !! come on...

I was expecting a different end to be honest.However, I think this was a great great show with a very positive impact in our society. As a heterosexual person make me think different and view things different in a very positive way.The show was very good .Great , funny, made me cry made me laugh, a lot of love,and real real friendship. I believe that Jenny kill herself . This group of amazing women couldn't kill anybody. My favorite shows Sex and the City, Melrose Place and the L word.

I agree @mafer007, it's like the writers ran out of ideas, they started the show with this brilliant, in-depth, constantly evolving and developing character and eventually ended up with a lame, bothersome last season which I only watched out of some sense of obligation after following the show so long.
