Claire Danes is the only reason I started watching this show, but the only reason I kept watching it is because the story is so well written. I think that's a good motto for this show: come for the actresses stay for the story.

Claire Danes convinced me last season she could in fact do crazy without over playing. The supporting cast is phenomenal as well.

The first season of homeland was such an engaging and well-acted psychological thriller. I really hope the showrunners can continue to bring original ideas and keep the show one of thet best on tv.

One of the best promo's ever!!! I hate watching this show one episode at a time so I waited and just watched all 4 episodes tonight. Anyone who didn't cry at the end of 3 is heartless. OMG!!!! The best show, next to The Wire, ever!!!. The entire promo seemed to be only based on the first 4 episodes and now we all know why. I need a support group!!! Claire Danes is just absolutley unbelievable.

Underrated implies that something is unappreciated. The fact that the show has won multiple awards and garnered glowing praise from critics demonstrates that Homeland is hardly underrated. I think most people here understand this. Everyone except you perhaps.

Yes, I believe the trailer was made before they filmed the rest of the series. This trailer came out last summer and the show was still filming into November of last year.

Damian Lewis fully deserved that Emmy he was great in Band of Brothers as well. Can't wait for season 2 Homeland I'll be watching for sure.

Show deserves to be as popular as Dexter, absolutely fantastic writing and acting by all of the cast, especially Danes.

The restraint used by the trailer is fitting for the show. Complex characters and story lines (well, with some exceptions) in a ruthlessly engaging series. i watch weekly--the dvr is a magical thing (I think it's better than waiting until the show is over and seeing all the episodes).

It still is phenomenal, and will continue to be.

Even thought this show sucks now, this is a great trailer.

Homeland (TV series): What's there to like about Jessica Brody? I wonder too! Her character is betrayed in such a way that she always demands more of Brody (who was a prisoner of war and suffered torture) than Brody expects of her. She is always looking for excuses to contact Mike. I understand the logic that she was a single mother for 8 years who thought her husband was no longer etc., now you cannot have a character who tries to garner more sympathy than POW himself. In fact, part of the audience stopped watching the character in Season 2 after a point where she was jumping to Mike on the right There must be a flaw in the script to have such a character or there may be something else showing up in future episodes.

Showtime got really lucky that the first year that Dexter truly underachieved, it had another masterpiece to fill the void. :)

September 30th it's gonna be a great day! Can't wait!!!
