@@nintendofannot4898 Not in the Finals. ‘96 Jordan was honestly very average by his standards. Jordan made more FT than FG in the Finals. He avg 11 FTA a game, +3 over his season avg. Jordan led the Bulls in turnovers, shot 41% FG including 31% in game 4 and 26% in game 6. Jordan solo lead all scorers in just 2 of 6 Finals games.

Dennis doesn’t get enough respect for just how mentally draining he was towards players. You cannot plan for a player like him. Without him there would have been no three peat. Out of Chicago’s 6 championships the 2nd 3 peat was 5 times better than the 1st because of Rodman. Please look at the total picture of Rodman’s effect on all the games he played with Chicago during those 3 years. His hustle, mental strength, rebounding and defensive was unmatched for every team they faced. You knew what to expect from Jordan and the others but Rodman was a different beast.

This was Nate McMillan's assignment. Nate McMillan was suffering with a back injury during that season. He was able to hang on for another 2 years never playing more than 55 games before being forced to retire at 33. He played 6 min. in game 1, sat games 2 and 3 (all Bulls wins) at total of 40 min. in games 4 and 5 (Sonic wins) and sat game 6 (Bulls win). His injury is the reason Karl had Detlef on Jordan. For everybody that cannot understand the importance of Rodman: He guarded Jordan (when he was with the Pistons), then he guarded Malone and Shaq (with the Bulls). He had impact on games when he had only a few points, but over 20 rebounds. He couldn’t score? He didn’t need to. It’s the same reason why Jordan didn’t need to shoot threes. Rodman averaged 25.7 points while at the Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He obviously could score. 5 times NBA champion, 7 times rebounding champion, 2 times Defensive Player of the Year, 7× NBA All-Defensive First Team He was one of the best rebounders and one on one defenders in history.

Orlando beating Chicago in 1995 did Jordan a huge favor most people don't talk about or even notice. Hakeem crushed David Robinson and Shaq that post season. True story: 1995 I'm the cook at IHOP in Indianapolis. It's almost 1 AM. People coming to eat after leaving the club early. I see this big mofo ducking his head down to get in the door. Waitress walks him past the pass bar(where we put your order after it's done). I knew him right away. I didn't say his name, I just said aye, what's up bro, he bent down and gave me a fist bump. I told him I got you. He didn't even get to sit down good when this hatin ninja start woofin cause the women was all watchin Shawn. He got up and walked past me shakin his head, I shook mine too, he left. Ninjaz, boah! Shawn cool though. 6-10 in person looks like 7 foot to a 5-10 person. I think Pacers beat them by 1 the next day.💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿

The facts are MJ lead all scorers with 27/5/4 Rodman had 8/15/3. In gm 6 MJ lead his team in scoring (pls don't bring up his shooting %, a bunch of these misses were MJ getting hit at the basket and that's counted as a miss) and he outscored gp and Kemp for the chip. It's basketball not REBOUNDball. MJ rightly was awarded the fmvp.

@@Celothxu Jordan's numbers are far more a product of the triangle offense than him just being this dominant scoring force yal jordan fanatics want yourselves to believe he is, the rebounding is the feat that got the job done, that the fact, I will take Kemp's word over a Jordan fanatic.

But people do mention Jordan without Pippen all the time...? Even worse, they call Pippen a Robin To a Batman. That's demeaning. And now, people wonder why he went on a resentful rage tour with his former teammates... people just liked him because of Jordan. Usually people mention Jordan but they can't mention Pippen without Jordan.

Believe it’s still the least efficient FMVP ever given out. I’d Iggy can win one because of defence, Rodman should have for his defence on Kemp and his nonpareil offensive rebounding which gave Chicago so many more possessions, cancelling out the awful efficiency
@Celothxu

Bro that's a weird take. MJ shot 42% but he avged 27/5/4. (Lead all scorers) Rodman avg 8/15/3. And He didn't defend Kemp, he defended brikowski. Did he d him at times when luc wasn't in the flr? yeah, otherwise luc had him. And dude only avged 23 ppg. MJ scored more points than any bull, Payton and Kemp in the last game, and since it's called basketball and not reboundball, MJ deserved the fmvp

Defense on Kemp? What finals did you watch? lol. Not only Kemp had the best series of his career, Rodman didn't really guard him much. You'd be giving him the FMVP solely because of his rebounding, which is idiotic.

@@davidschmidt1793 "You'd be giving him the FMVP solely because of his rebounding, which is idiotic" No, they are LeBron stans. They are giving him FMVP because it makes Jordan look bad. That's it. They have absolutely no clue what Rodman did that series but they just parroting a narrative to prop up their boy....it's a sign of how utterly desperate they are.

Kemp was my favorite player growning up, And I love those '90s Sonics... But they were never beating that Bulls 96' team. However, if Payton was put on Jordan the whole series, it goes game to 7. Those '90s Sonics were the only Western conference team that could have taken the Bulls to a game 7 and George Karl screwed it up big time. Payton off MJ: 0-3 Payton on MJ: 2-1
