This was the only guide that actually explained how to set up cork the right way. None of the reddit posts or forums posts mention in detail that you should only FLICK the left stick and load up with the right - I spent a full day floudering doing the slowest cork 180s and falling on my face, then after watching this my first cork attempt was a double 540. Thanks

Thanks a ton dude, this is exactly what I've been looking for! I'm stuck in the mission where you have to copy the dude's tricks and he does a 1440 spin and a 540 rodeo. For me the really hard part is getting spin momentum during front flips and back flips. I'll have to try your tips out.

Yeah it definitely take a little to get used to the flicks. All in the timing with the take off of the jump you’ll want to release RT when you reach the end of your flicks

Grabs are basically like skate your l or r bumpers are literally your left or right hand but to differentiate between grabs you want to move stick to different direction for different grabs its like skate to a certain extent but then again its its own thing that being said i LOVE those slow rotation 180s

You can also do a tucked version by holding up then going diagonal down or holding down then going diagonal up on the left joystick

Coming over from steep and RR. Shredders is a little slower but has a reaaaaaaaal nice flow to once you get going. Feels like I’m a painter just gliding across the slopes

This is hands down the best snowboarding game since coolboarders or 1080 (lookin back ten eighty was mainly just racing but you could do tricks anyway) this game is top notch....I JUST WISH THEY WOULD HAVE PICKED A BETTER COVER ART BECAUSE I KEPT PASSING IT UP BECAUSE THE COVER ART ON GAMEPASS LOOKS LIKE AN OLD NEWGROUNDS FLASH GAME THUMBNAIL or something ....if they just TWEAKED it a bit more ppl would look into this game....dont be me dont judge a game by its cover art its an old habit from the old days....oh snap i am old

Very helpfull Thx. One thing needs to be added. I realy wished to know how i can Jump Higher. Sometimes it works to press LS fast Up on the Lip of a ramp/hill but not allways. There some collectibles that need a High Jump but in Places with only a small Hill or ramp. So that last Secret (High Jumps would be welcome).

If you want to spin fast left use the right stick wind up to the left while holding jump then when you wanna pop right when you release jump flick that stick to the left.....think skate kinda

Are you finding butters much less snappy than in TSG? I can’t seem to get good butters in the game but I’m not sure if it’s just the way I am playing..

Yeah butters are definitely less snappy and more floaty, I’ve only done a double out of the butters a few times so far

Any advice on maintaining full spin momentum while also getting good corks/rodeo momentum going? I find I always lose speed on the spins when I do start up a cork or a rodeo.

Need to find the right spot in the left stick for each rotation, sometimes it moves a little from the left to the corner on corks

You want to release RT when you finish the flick Up to Down on the LS and then at the same time flick the right stick down. If you grab it also helps. Do you need more help?

I dont know if ive got baby mode on or something but the landing system is super forgiving..in fact i qlmost forget they want you to tap l trigger to land .... because i hardley ever use it

Yea landing is super forgiving, the devs have been talking about adding a hardcore mode.

@@forgottenpeak8499 i mean im not complaining whatsoever lol but yea i would probably play a bit of hardcore....like i wish skate 3 would have been worked on a bit more like i went back through all of them and yes they added this or that but the rest of the game just feels sooooo rushed especially animations tricks or otherwise and the ledge hit boxes (landing on certain grinds or slides just dont lock right) was it on a different engine because it felt like it

I didnt even think about it this new generation doesnt really have snowboarding games to pull exp from ... because spinning in most of the snowboarding games is like this ...its probably why i took to it so quickly but the new cats dont really have anything to compare this too or draw from ....we should be thankin this man

Been playing for a day or two now and i managed to break the RB bumper on two controllers now, one is stuck and the other does click but won't react in game. Are there more people who've had this or am i the only one?

Its all about timing, need to time the flick and pop and the right time with the lip of the jump. and sometimes the game just doesnt let you spin.

Make sure you get good timing with the left stick preload and the right stick flicking down at the same time. I also have trouble with triple backies.

@@Agent_OB hah I guess i didn’t really go into it. So to cork you just combine the right stick preload and flick with the wildcat flipping motion with the left stick. You will definitely need to grab to get the corks going fast

This game looks awesome but the landings, and you are landing a lot in a snowboarding game, are whack. They need to express more force to be realistic. The need to be a lot more hectic and not so simple

Omg this game is in dire need of better horizontal and vertical rotation functions.. the game seems to forget your winding up a horizontal and just keeps vertical.. and forgets vertical and just keeps horizontal rotation.. Seriously disappointed with a game I was told otherwise.. Massive thumbs down from this snowboarder

Watch your timing coming off the jumps. Need to get it at the lip. Takes some time to get used to

You'd think 5 sec wind up then reverse flick would be adequate enough to do some kind of rotation but 70% of the time it doesn't even register.. I'm landing 1440 and triples but actually combining the two for tri-cork 1440 is proving an irritable task indeed.. I have though figured out not to wind up and just pump opposite then quickly revert to direction for spins which has become more reliable than wind up

Because this is much more realistic than Riders Republic and a person like me, who actually snowboards IRL, This is a masterpiece! Riders Republic is a cartoon easy mode version. This is the real shit.

Listen kid, The game controls and mechanics are what we are talking about. The tricks and style and the way you can make this look real, you know, like you're really snowboarding blows riders republic out the water and it's an indie based company not a AAA company like riders republic has. Go lie down with your cartoon easy mode game.

The amount of content riders republic offers just online alone is more then shredders whole game. Again I’m a fan of shredders but people gassing it up like it’s tony hawk pro skater 2 or skate 3 need to chill. Skate 3 which came out in 2010 has online matchmaking 😂
