We lost our memory card, yet me and my brother never got sick of going through Shrek 2 every few days from the very start. It was our favourite game, and we fought over who got to do hero time XD It was really fun watching people who've never play the game

This game is hands down one of the most nostalgic from my childhood. They put so much heart into it, and you can tell it wasn't just a cash grab. It actually had real challenge for me at the time. And those additional levels/locations and new characters were fully fleshed out and cool. It's definitely best when played with at least 3ppl though. It's an awesome coop game.

I think the reason why this game’s story differs from the film’s is because this game was released before the Shrek 2 movie did and wanted to prevent spoiling people of the movie’s plot.

“This is a fever dream” I think all movie tie in games are some degree of fever dream. The combination of bizarre enemies, inane collectathons and convoluted padding for time all just mixed together into a bastardised version of whatever it is trying to represent. Truly a lost art

The trees's faces look very similar to Weaver's face from Antz, which is an interesting easter egg, because Antz is DreamWorks' first film, and it's nice to see easter eggs and nods to other DreamWorks films in games based on their movies, like a Penguin of Madagascar appearing in the pirate ship in the Shrek the Third game, and Oscar from Shark Tale appearing on a projector in the Over the Hedge game.

Shrek 2 is a shockingly competent movie game and even more, a good local multiplayer game for all ages. Fairly easy to control and not too much complex movement unless you wanna go all out. Its actually pretty funny and charming too. A fee odd choices and bugs, but still an interesting experience. -

the area where you're walking around far far away near the beginning of the game is by far the best area of the game. all the little side missions and GTA star system was alot of fun for a young kid lol

I remember a friend of my sister’s had this on her PS2 along with a lot of The Ratchet and Clank games. I only got to the part where you throw live chickens into the soup.

This was the first game that I found about glitches. My sister's and I found three, getting into Shrek's hut, going underneath the rat fighting arena in FFA, and another under a different arena. Also the mine racing thing at the end was awful
