Want to know fun fact about Frank Welker, he’s been the voice of Fred in every official Scooby Doo project except for two. The first was a Pup Named Scooby Doo which made sense as the characters were younger. But the second time was for the recent Scoob! movie where he was instead played by Zac Efron because of Hollywoods frustrating obsession of having Celebrity voices instead of actual Voice Actors.

So are you saying celebrities can’t be voice actors or that voice actors aren’t celebrities in their own right? You know the term celebrity didn’t always meant someone who is rich, gorgeous, obnoxious, oblivious, lacking a personality and having mediocre acting talents. Speaking of, are you also saying Zac can’t act? I’m not saying Zac is a Shakespearean/ Master-level actor, but the guy can act really well. I think the problem is audiences like yourself not giving talented people the credit they deserve.

For Richard Steven Horvitz, he's also lent his voice to several characters in the Ratchet & Clank series, was Orthopox-13 in Destroy All Humans and Lani-Loli in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time.

Here's another fun bizarre pseudo-connection to Shrek from Farquad's voice, John Lithgow. Shrek, for those unaware, is loosely based on a children's picture book by William Steig. That same author's resume of picture books have received animated short treatments, although Shrek! wasn't among them. However, for at least two of them that did receive such treatment, John Lithgow provided the narration for both the shorts. So, John Lithgow already had experience working with the author of the film's source material, before working on this film.

And good riddance, I say. The only good thing about this performance is the actor didn't come back for either of the sequels!"

30:52 Welker also provided the voices of Soundwave, Skywarp, Scavenger, Mirage, Wheelie, Galvatron (though not in the 1986 Movie), Frenzy and Rumble in Transformers cartoons. He also played Ray Stantz, Slimer and the Boogeyman in The Real Ghostbusters, and even The Joker in the Super Friends cartoons. He was just EVERYWHERE in the 1980s. And so many of these voices are so different from each other, his range is just amazing. I rate him the most gifted voice actor of all time.

Don't know if you'll ever see this, and it may seem silly but - I just wanted to say thank you for saying "if someone you know is going through some shit, give them a hug and tell them how much you appreciate them". I almost never hear people say that, they always say something like "if you're going through some shit, reach out for support". It's hard when you DO reach out and feel like no one cares, and then you feel like it's your fault for not trying hard enough. People put the burden on the one who's already burdened. Just wanted to say thank you for that sentiment.

Sia is another example of scratch vocals. She did scratch vocals for a song MEANT to be sung by someone else. The producer didn't like anyone else's take more than Sia's, so he released the song with her scratch vocals.(against her wishes) That blew up and essentially sparked her renaissance. (she's been around for 20+ years. Just wasn't 'above ground' until that song was released.

0:17 LOOK!!! I’m famous Anyway, another great video Ross. Funnily enough, I was actually working on my own version of this series for a tv show I love before I got the notification I always think that voice actors have more opportunities to surprise me with the other roles as we can’t see the face so may not always recognise the person. Frank Walker was definitely the most surprising As for future films to do, I’d love if you did Hot Fuzz as that has so many famous British actors that it’s hard to recognise them all

You know... It's a bit of a shame they never thought to bring in Cody Cameron for the Spyro Reignited trilogy. Especially to voice at least one of the goats in the remake of Spyro 3, considering he can most likely emulate the type of voice that was usually associated with thebone talking about the moose, in the OG PS1 version.
