this was how i found out about a song called "sing sing sing" by benny goodman a quickly made (dare i say rushed) ident for bbc one, relating to christmas, with shrek in it, was how i found out about a great jazz song by one of the best players of all time, in the game we call jazz i'm befuddled but i'm not complaining for long

Just the music there... it's like Shrek brought some BBC ident materials straight into the Monsters, Inc. universe. Weird. Nominees for the first Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Yes, Big Business had this track before, and Monsters, Inc. had this in its advertising, not the film itself.

There's no point criticising the ident for the content after 10 seconds - the announcer would be speaking over the music, telling everyone what is coming next.

These have got to be the worst idents by the BBC in recent years - alongside the next year's set. 2014 has got to pick up the pace.
