It's crazy that neither Lord Farquard or Fairy Godmother ( THE TWO MAIN VILLAINS OF THE MOVIES AT THE TIME), were playable characters!

Well Lord Farquaad makes a bit of sense because he never did anything offensive himself. But the Fairy Godmother? That is unforgivable, literally they could get an infinity of super original movements using spells

It's probably because both of them died at the end of their respective movies whereas every character they included is still alive in-universe

maybe they would remake the game and even add characters from the most recent movies like them, like Rumpelstinkin, Reworked Humpty, and even The Big Bad Wolf (aka Death)
