Bro my mom puts Cajun seasoning in the shrimp and paprika and it be so good. My mom puts cheese in the grits and they are so good cheesy. She let's the shrimp defrost ofc because you don't boil them. She takes the tails off and seasons them and let's them cook. She makes it soo good😄

Growing up in a low-income family, even our simplest meals were not this bad, Haiyah! Mama always made sure we ate good and healthy, making us homemade recipes taught to her by her parents growing up, and while she may not be from the South, she a true southerner at heart, and I appreciate her so much!
