Shrinking, the new Apple TV drama comedy show starring Jason Segel and Harrison Ford is a must watch. The show created by the people behind Scrubs and Ted Lasso is a wonderful look at grief and overcoming loss in life. It has a wonderfully surprising blend of comedy, drama and interesting out looks on therapy. It is a must watch and certainly well worth your time.

I usually wait until an entire season is done, but in this case - I couldn't. Shrinking is surprisingly (or maybe unsurprisingly) awesome. The show maneuvers around painful subject material with earnest and plenty of laughter. Like Ted Lasso, this will be another sure fire hit for Apple TV and one I HIGHLY recommend. Segal is a genuine talent. He needs to get more leading roles. Hes both funny and good at drama all while being likeable

I absolutely LOVE this show. It’s beyond heartwarming and there are very few shows out there that just leave you with a smile on your face. Love the quit-witted and sharp dialogue.

Loved it. It reminds me a ton of Ted Lasso. That show is light with hints of depression. This show is depression with hints of light imo. Love the character work.

The premise has my attention. I kept hearing "shrinking" and thinking of that matt damon movie about people making themselves tiny.

Harrison Ford in a TV show still feels strange. Before very recently the last credit I see for him acting in a series is 1993!

This show was awful. Totally awful. It might have been something OK if it were made in 2010, but with the writers in Hollywood today it is a disgrace to the medium.

It's pretty regressive. Some jokes are written in ways that make the writers seem sexist and homophobic, not just the characters. For instance, it seems like this tv show is in a universe where statutory rape is ok? Because characters are constantly joking about this dude's teenage daughter getting with an adult man, but they never really comment on how creepy/illegal that is. The writers think swearing is a comedy cheat code. So many jokes fall flat. It feels like they made an effort to make the show as inclusive as possible while still having a middle-aged white man as the main character so more white people would watch their show. If it was released in 2010, it wouldn't have aged well.
