Shroud's fault asking chat rather than just paying attention and figuring it out. All he had to do was look at his own health bar. He also seemed to immediately forget that counterattacks are a thing.

@@RadeonVector it seems like they made the binds better for pc in elden ring but back on DS1 & 2 i remember it being awful, controller was just easier and more intuitive.

And yes shroud the bosses are definitely programmed to spam fast ranged attacks the second you press the heal button. To the point where the game learns when youre going to do it and does the attack at exactly the same time as you press it. You have to learn the windows where they wont spam an attack and for some bosses thats hardly ever

The game doesn't learn it just reads your input, which is pretty cheap

@@gollesebecause the game can react within a frame of you pressing the button. Humans have to actually see the animation then take a quarter second to react.

Heavy attack on M=KB is literally just hold in left MB. Its easier on M+KB imo because you have better camera control, it helps vs some of the crazier bosses who can jump 2 screens behind you

@@YoyMcFroy It's so pain because they put it on space bar by default so it's the most crisp but it feels wrong to sprint with Space Bar so i put it on shift....but that feels hella gummy. Just let me make dodge C why is that such a problem.

It's such a pointless argument as you can't unbind your controls separately on controller which still causes the dodges to be gummy. There is 0 reason to not allow for the separation of controls as well as no argument for a "controller" game. They released it knowing it was going to be on pc making it a pc console game lol.
