I think there are artists who love hard surfaces and artists who love organic forms. Miyazaki is definitely the latter.

I was pretty low energy in this video, it was a long week. My apologies if I didn't properly convey that this book is incredible and Miyazaki's storytelling is one of a kind.

That's really beautiful! The organic-looking block that you said didn't jump out at you as "Miyazaki" -- my first thought was Junji Ito. Thanks for reviewing this; I'll keep an eye out for a copy
