Question: you said that the pop filter screen is magnetic. won't it affect the pick-up signal of the microphone? meaning, won't the magnetic field interfere with the diaphragm?

Good question, the magnet does not interfere with the sound or operation of the microphone. Diaphragms in condenser microphones are constructed of non-ferrous materials and unlike dynamic microphones, condenser microphones do not use a magnetic field to induce current, so they are not sensitive magnets like the one used for Shure’s pop filter.

@@fullcompass whether the diaphragm capsule is made of non- ferrous or non- magnetic material like gold. But which recording vocals a magetic field is generated by the capsule. It can interfere with the magnetic pop filter.

That pop filter keeps falling off everytime you accidentally have a slight bump with the stand .. not a good design. I went back to using a traditional screw-on pop filter. Secondly in the upright position the mic keeps drooping forwards and will not sit straight up .. so not a very good shockmount and wondering what would be a better replacement shockmount for it. Any ideas? No matter how tightly you screw the bottom the mic will lean forwards towards the pop filter and touch it most times! I use it for vocals and it is a nice clean sound but I would have liked more bottom end coming through .. it lacks that lower mids and bottom end and I kinda regret buying it.

I thought it is amazing condenser microphone. But you are saying it lacks lower mids and bottom ends. So, according to you which condenser microphone is best for recording vocals. Pl. suggest.
