Great video! How do you typically process your audio? The sound before the raw samples was very good!

Thank you! I typically do some minor post sound edits that plays with the parametric equalizer, multiband compressor etc. I'm not an expert on this but I generally tend to tweak it to my liking , keeping the gain within -6. Hope this helps somehow

hi , if i already have sm7b with wave xlr, should i buy cl-1? or sell my sm7b and buy sm7db? which one the best for voice?

Hi Rianto, if you already have the wave xlr with the sm7b, I would say you wouldn't need the cl-1 unless you're really lacking on the gain. I am using a scarlet focusrite and have the gain cranked up to max, which I assume you can do the same with the wave XLR without a lack of gain issue. hope this helps as it has no problem so far for my live streaming etc

Good presentation, but why your voice in yr podcast sound much better then once u do comparing test , so what you do do get such nice final output ? What other gear do u use , regards Greg

I do post audio production on my videos thus the better sound. In the comparison test, I do not do any post audio edits on it to give you a true idea of how it's like when plugged and play! I use a scarlett focusrite for the audio interface. that's about all my gears!

Without headphones & the pre-Amp bypassed. It has a ( Slightly ) cleaner sound. With the Pre-Amp its apparent the Sm7db is still more pronounced AT THE PRICE of more white noise. This could come down to a few variables in the setup. But for this presentation I would say Sm7b

thanks for taking the time to watch this video too! I'm assuming you meant SM7b, if that's the case then its a yes for sure! In this video, I am using the focusrite scarlett solo. You will just have to push the gain all the way up on your focusrite. Hope this helps

you mean for live streams? You don't have to over eq it for it cause it actually sounds really good with just plug and play. but i actually use this thing called marvel geq for my mic during live streams!

listening to the sound test which I did, yes it sounds similar (and its supposed to be that way without any pre-amp). do you feel that it sounds different?

@@tanggoz hard to say but 2 smb7 ‘s can sound different let alone a sm7db and a sm7db .close enough if not the same . Sm7db is the better value one less tool to worry about with built in cloud lifter
