Since I was rooting for red for the entire time, i was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It's suprising how entertaining a simulated race can be.

Because theres a lot of comments on how long Rainbow lasted missing a wheel, it's because across flat terrain one wheel was better then two. The other worms just flipped around aimlessly while sometimes being pushed by the wall, while rainbow moved with actual purpose. It wasn't as good across crushers and uneven terrain though, so when it got blocked by a box it was over.

Mono’s death was the most tragic fall. He was in the lead for so long but he died alone. Like if you cry every time.

rainbow went through a whole character arc. started off alone, became cocky and tempted fate too much, finally had a really close call that brought him back to his senses, started trying to actually win, found his rival (monochrome), became really close to said rival yet still true rivals, lost him in a tragic event, tried avenging him, got hurt in the process, tried proving his worth even though hes hurt, and went out like a hero.

I feel like with how rare it was to lose segments, the ranking system should have just been a 24-1, and not have the number of segments for each. Because initially I thought each worm had 21 lives or something.

This was a roller coaster of emotions. Every time I thought one was about to die, it just barely managed to zip by. My anxiety spiked so many times

Near the end with with bright red and the 2 purples it kinda looked like they were helping each other, rainbow I think deserves a reward for surviving so long with 1 wheel, I had my bets on bright red. This was fun to watch and a little nerve racking when brown tried punching bright red backwards into the grinders a few times.

Rainbow was in it to win it, and everyone knew that. He watched Magenta, Gray, and Tan die without a thought. He continued to try and shove the others out of his way, and he didn't care about the consequences. Somewhere in the crossfire, he found Teal. They conversed amongst the racer worms, and arranged a deal. They would team up. Rainbow honestly couldn't care less whether Teal died or not. He just wanted an ally. He also quickly found an enemy: Monochrome. As Cyan, Olive, Orange, Lime, and Maroon were slaughtered under the shutters, Rainbow continued forth. While Monochrome kept annoying Rainbow, Teal got ahead. Rainbow was pushed under a box, about to be crushed by the shutter, he wormed (get it?) his way out of there. Teal was surprised to see Rainbow emerge alive. Monochrome gritted his teeth, and went on. They raced onward, Monochrome continued to compete. Rainbow escaped another near-death experience. Teal was glad for his partner, but Rainbow was sweating profusely. He'd win if he had to kill Monochrome himself. as Rainbow raced ahead, he noticed Monochrome behind. Monochrome was struggling for his life. He raced past the shutter, but the next one had already shut, trapping him in. Monochrome was dead meat. He pounded on the shutter, but the metal didn't budge. Monochrome screamed for help, as he was crushed under the shutters. Rainbow giggled under his breath. Teal was doing embarrassingly better than Rainbow was, and Rainbow hated it. Rainbow kicked Hot Pink back, and raced past the shutters. Hot Pink was killed in a similar fashion as Monochrome. The shutters picked up, and Rainbow scrambled to be in the lead. Blue and White were squashed under the presses first. Then it was Pink. Then Indigo, Yellow, and Salmon. Rainbow was now in last. Teal was close to first! This was blasphemy! Rainbow struggled upwards, but one of his wheels was sheared off. He managed to limp into safety. Mint was squashed, and Green lost both wheels. Green was flattened under the next shutter. 6 left. Rainbow ran, and ended up face-to-face with Teal. Rainbow was angered, but Teal pushed him away from the shutter. That was when Rainbow realized. He screamed for Teal, but Teal was already dead. Rainbow was left devastated. Only Red, Purple, Violet, Brown, and he remained. Rainbow pedaled himself with his remaining wheel past the shutter, but Brown wasn't as lucky. 4 left. Rainbow struggled to find a reason behind winning anymore. Teal had sacrificed himself for Rainbow, and Rainbow had been to blinded by victory. Soon, Rainbow's other wheel was torn off. Rainbow couldn't move. He just had to wait for death to come. The shutters bisected his back half off of him. Rainbow flew in the air, howling in pain. He figured it was fitting for someone like himself. The shutters came down, and there was nothing he could do. Rainbow closed his eyes, as the shutter came down. Purple died after Rainbow. Red and Violet won the race. What was the moral of Rainbow's story? Don't be an A-hole or the falling hydraulic presses will crush you.

Here's an idea for your next "Don't stay in last": Each team gets maybe 10 marbles with 100 hp each. Once one marble loses all of its hp the rest keep on going until the whole team is eliminated.
