Endlich mal eine Reiterin die ihr Pferd mal so richtig lobt!

So sollte man jedes Pferd verabschieden, denn jedes Pferd hat es verdient! Wirklich toll!

Das Schönste an der ganzen Sache ist, dass Shutterfly nicht beim Schlachter oder sonstwo ist, sondern seine Rente genießt, noch etwas geritten wird, die Weide genießen darf und irgendwann in hoffentlich vielen Jahren einschlafen darf. Selten so eine charakterstarke Frau gesehen wie Meredith

Noch ein vereinzeltes Pferd im Spitzensport, dass schön anzusehen ist. Sie ist eine tolle Reiterin und Shutterfly ein tolles Pferd. Ich finde es schön jemanden mit Gefühl reiten zu sehen, trotz der hohen Sprünge. Traumpaar.

Und heute morgen ist er für immer einschlafen😔 Der Held meiner Kindheit…ich werde ihn nie vergessen… Stolze 30 Jahre…er hatte ein tolles Leben bei einer liebenden Besitzerin! 🌈

Ich fahre seit 1995 zum CHIO Aachen und 2011 war mit abstand ein sehr emotionales Turnier das ich nie vergessen werde.

das ist so ein schönes video, berührt immernoch, auch wenn man es schon oft gesehen hat. Einzigartige Reiterin, einzigartiges Pferd 😍🐎

ich war letzte woche in aachen und habe zugesehn, auch bei anderen Prüfungen. Ich muss sagen bei Shutterfly sieht man das es Pferde gibt die mit ganzem Herzen in die Prüfung gehn, er hat die Ohren nach vorne, und immer spaß daran seine reiterin hindurch zu bekommen. Ich glaub ich werd ihn auch ziemlich vermissen, denn er war mein absoluter Liebling in jeglichen Prüfungen. Aber Struppelpeter hat es wircklich verdient, für all seine Leistungen. ♥

Was für ein Pferd! Tolle Manieren, super hübsch, klasse Talent, und tolle Reiterin!

Meredith hat echt ALLES aus ihm herausgeholt, man merkt, dass er zu nichts gezwungen wurde. Und das hat ihn zu einem Wahrnsinns Pferd gemacht, er wurde gestärkt durch Vertrauen und Geduld- er ist mit seiner Reiterin durch dick und dünn gegangen- durch Vertrauen. Meredith liebt das Pferd, sie behandelt es nicht wie ein Sportgerät, sondern wie eine eigene Persönlichkeit. Das macht die beiden zu einem richtigen Team- einem Pferd, das seinen Reiter durch Vertrauen zum Sieg trägt. Goodbye Shutterfly.

Die Ritte der beiden sind immer sehr hamonisch. Die Zwei gehören einfach zusammen. Es ist schade, dass er nicht mehr dabei ist, aber er hat es sich wirklich verdient. Alles Gute für beide.

If anyone here wants to see the complete ceremony they can watch the video "A legend says goodbye - Shutterfly's retirement". It was actually about 12 minutes long and here is just a very, very small part of it ;) They said way more and he also went on two rounds of honour, which (for me) were actually the most emotional part of it!

Ich hab es damals im Fernsehen verfolgt und musste damals schon weinen, weil Shutterfly wirklich ein super Pferd ist... und jetzt musste ich wieder anfangen zu weinen und konnte es nicht glauben das es Tatsache schon ein Jahr her ist

My German is not that great, but what it comes down to is, the announcer was saying that they are such a fantastic team and they have done so well and that Shutterfly is 18 years old. At the end of it all the rider (Meredith) says thank you to Shutterly and how she couldn't wait to wake up in the morning to ride and how Shutterfly is and always will be a fantastic horse.

so schön das ende. (: aber gut, dass meredith weiß, wann man aufhören sollte. gut dass sie weiß, wann ein pferd genug getan hat :D er wird sicher noch ein paar schöne jahre haben ♥
