You walked right through that solid oak bar counter John! That was very clever of you, though I say it myself.

Go and ask Mary if she's finished polishing the brasses so you can get the Casio out and play "Mingling With Mourners" to cheer up.

Am I right in thinking this was a special feature Granada Tours did back in the early 90’s? You read out a pre-scripted bit of dialogue and they superimposed you into a prerecorded scene with Betty Driver. ‘Make your own appearance in Corrie’!
@grahamfellowsmusic396126 күн бұрын
Indeed it was. But John deviated from the script somewhat!

@@grahamfellowsmusic3961by the way: I adore this channel. Graham is up there with Lennon and McCartney, Neil Hannon and John Cooper-Clarke. Obviously, not comparisons; just my own personal favourites, but an absolute dynamite songwriter. 7 pints and a suicide. Just the title itself makes you think ‘WHA..’ and then it’s about a couple of lads ending the night with a curry!🤣👏👏

Should have asked to see Gail. Pop across for a cuppa. Reminice about your Yamaha. Happen warm her couch for a bit or even have a custard cream together or a nice biscuit? Bland but reassuring in a crisis.
@stephenpowers5125 күн бұрын
There is much wisdom in your words. As the Lord might well have said before or after someone was taking notes, 'Blessed are those in a bit of a pickle, for they will be blandly reassured.'
