Kyran Daniel used to go by the name of Kieran Murphy, and he was one of the most exciting young fingerstyle players to pop up when Tommy rose to fame about 15 years ago. He recently made a comeback, and this song is one for all levels of players.

Well, when doing my research for the lesson I learned he has actually "resurfaced" but under a different name! He now goes by the name of "Kyran Daniel" and he can be found (with new videos!) on KZfaq.

Whenever I record my acoustics it's always only those two mics (panned hard left and right) into the recording software with only a little compression added. I rarely use the pickup system in the guitar when I'm recording. I always use Logic Pro X as my recording software, and I only use the stock plug-ins!

Thanks for the compiment! I'm afraid my process is quite simple, but I've had more requests to do a video on this. But this is a quick overview: I use Sibelius for notation, but any notation software is probably going to work fine (MuseScore is free I think!). I don't use any software for the transcription itself, it is all done by ear!

@@namanrao8970 All of these ideas are coming in the (more or less) near future. I'm currently working hard to get my lesson library to 100 songs, and after that I can finally reduce the tempo a bit and work on other things!
