Here are 10 tips (not 12 like I say in the first few seconds of the video, it happens like this sometimes lol) to improve your emotes! It can be tricky to get your emotes looking good at that small 28x28 pixels size so this will help with them feeling distorted and make them readable! These tips will also help you improve your emote art overall.

Such great tips! I never thought to use a thicker line on the outside edges of the emote. It makes such a difference.

Don't forget that emotes won't look the same size on every single screen. In some screens like TVs and iphones they use a different size. I honestly don't know why they make them look so small on PC. I know you get a preview when you hover over the emote in chat and it shows the 112x112 version. I'm still waiting for Twitch to allow us to chose between sizes on chat settings or at least give us the 56x56 as default.

A long time ago I made my own twitch emotes, they were okay but not quite there yet compared to the quality I've seen from other emotes.. Had trouble with badges as well.. But now I'm gonna try again! Thank you so much for the tips, great vid!

Discord usually just resize it, as long as u upload a 1 : 1 image, so i think it's because you sized it before uploading it?

when my client asked to show all the head, and makes some stupid small details and i say '' it wont be visible' but say'' want it' and then i work for some shit that wont appear, but anyway :D

It's good to collect all the info upfront about what a client wants. Good that you told them the details won't show. But sometimes for myself, when I don't like the concept or some of the issues that may be in an emote (like too many details that won't show) I tell them I can't make it for them.

Ues, selling fanart is copyright. Anyone doing it is taking a risk. Each artist needs to get informed about copyright to decide if and how much risk they are willing to take as being negligent won't hold up as an excuse.
