The Grace Jones sample on this song is SO inspired. This is one of my favorite rap songs of all time. I LOVE how he uses LL COol J's flow from "Hey Lover" in the first verse. This song reminds me of a carribbean version of DMX's "How's It Going Down." I just think this entire song is genius and the perfect mix of a lot of creativity.

Perfect song for the time, cause Shyne was going through it...so, the melancholy feel to the song painted a way broader picture surrounding his whole situation at the time. This is high school for me. This takes me back to a time in my life(like others I’m sure)...when life, was a lot less complex than what it is now.
