We are happy that we incorporate diet and lifestyle change very strongly in our treatment plan for each patient. Diet and lifestyle changes are included in the plan for each patient. Some patients would additionally need medications, while others would be better suited for laparoscopic surgery. Hi Dr most of the information is correct however I would tell my experience we can not take normal food for four weeks after this surgery. Only liquid and juices can be swallowed for four weeks following the surgery. Also it affected my singing ability as air retention capacity of my stomach is reduced which is my personal experience. Good part is that it worked and stopped my acid reflex issues.Alhumdullillah it's been ten years when I had laproscopic large hiatus hernia surgery and it didn't repeated so far...

@@adroit-digestive-obesityclinic Thank you for your advice to my issue. i just added my experience which I went thru after Hernia operation and i feel for large hiatus hernia correction is must through laparoscopic surgery preferable . I feel i have taken right decision at right time. Moreover i feel there is no other way once this hernia happens. Some Dr may say surgery is not needed, which will be misleading , i feel it should be done soon to avoid further complications...

@@ground_report i had long history of hyper acidity , followed by acid reflux which resulted in Hiatus hernia. after hernia operation reflex stopped. you should go for endoscopy to find whther you have ulcer and also any more issues if existing. if only ulcer it can be treated without operation also. lot of Ayurvedic herbal treatment also available to improve your digestion and cure for hyper acidity and healing ulcers. you should also take pro biotic + pre biotic to support you in digestion. take smaller portion of foods, take fruits alkaline in nature with your food or after like apple , carrot, banana, Guawa, papaya etc . take curd . avoid takng coffee, take less tea, green tea is good. everyday morning first thing take lemon with turmeric with a pinch of black pepper. start taking triphala .. for hyper acidity you can take awipattikar churn ( Baidyanath).. do morning evening walk .. maintain a healthy life style .. always take food cooked at home .. dont delay your dinner ,, try to get dinner at least 3-4 hrs before sleep never take carbonated drinks,, no smoking and alcohol .. Take Kutaj Dhan Bati for gastro trouble... take more fibers ,, prefer to take chapati and brown bread ... Hope you will recover soon ... -

Hamari grand mother ko 2 years se hitus hernia hai. Medicine se fayda hua. Lekin dheere dheere medicine asar nahi kar rahi hai. Doctors ka kahna hai ki ab is age me surgery danger hai. Medicine se hi treatment hoga. Age 85 years hai. Please suggest me.
