Fun Facts:
When Si originally wrote this song he only had the melody..
However as luck would have it on the studio notice board was a business card and picture that was handed to him at a show 'Classic Coupe De Ville available for hire, weddings & functions' .. The car name fitted the melody like a velvet glove and the rest is Rock & Roll history .. well sort of !

Man, I first heard this song as part of a rockabilly mix and when that got taken down I've spent months frustrated about the fact that I didn't remember this song in particular, so glad I finally found it again.

im so pleased that si and his band are now reaching a wider audience me and the wife first heard him in a pub in derby a customer had his cd and the barman played it we were instantly hooked and follow him everywhere if you havent seen him live just go he and his band are phenomanol

The sound of Jackie Wilson can clearly be heard in this record, written by the man singing Si Cranstoun, give this singer a break get him into the charts he deserves it, very few singers out there that can actually sing for real, there are some, but try to find em, here we have one right in our eye's

I went to see Michael Buble several years ago at a smallish intimate venue as he wasnt the worldwide superstar and as well known as he is today...I am glad to say I have tickets to see Si Cranstoun at Robin2 this Sepetember as I am damned sure that in a few years time he will be playing huge venues, tickets will be hard to get etc etc This has been a long time coming for SC but cannot figure out why as he just oozes talent not just vocally but he is a fab songwriter to boot....now it is HIS time...world watch out....enough said.
