Do your thing Si. Don't be apologetic for legally enjoying your sport. That is precisely what many want you to do. Be always apologizing and guilt ridden because we do not share their views. I am in the U.S. where we enjoy the right to bear arms of all sorts as well as hunt (though the antis are always after us as well).Having said that, your's and Daves channel is what got me interested in air gunning several years back. I hunt small game now exclusively with springer air rifles. It is one of the most enjoyable things for me; target shooting in my yard (me garden for you Brits...LOL) and hunting squirrels and rabbits. You and Dave have always had a top notch You Tube channel and I have so missed watching your adventures in air rifle hunting and pest control there in the U.K. Please do not lose heart. Life is far too short. Thank you.

I have lost count of the videos in which you have both described the pest species being controlled and the reason for which you have been required by the land owner to control them. You continue to educate those who watch your content teaching them about pest species (your feature on the brown rat comes to mind). Your constant advice of the importance of practice and warnings not to attempt to emulate some of the outstanding shots your viewers have seen you make, is a demonstration of your commitment to responsible shooting. Between you, you have, and continue to provide an invaluable service to the air-gunning community. What Paul has demonstrated by his post is his ignorance as there is no requirement in tort or in law for one to declare the reason a pest species is being controlled. The only obligation is to ensure that the species in question is being lawfully controlled. There was nothing in this video or any video that you have ever posted through VHTV that would suggest the contrary. It is for that reason that I implore you to continue to broadcast your content without any change to its format, as the only losers will be your subscribers (the very people that you educate, inspire and entertain). Good to see you back , i think you must be one of the best shooters in the country .Sadly i sold my pcp prior the to gov legislation in Scotland and was told by a gun dealer the other day that only around 48k people are licenced in Scotland and thats why most gun dealers dont hold many guns and if you were to order one from England then its another £85 on top of the price just for the postage and the £50 the dealers charge just to hand the gun over the counter . .

I'm a airgun hunter and slingshot shooter I say slingshot shooter not hunter because I'm not good enough. I shoot rabbits squirrels and wood pigeons on my permissions for my farmers no corvid, thats my choice . I have wood pigeons in my garden what I don't shoot that's my choice. My rabbits squirrels and wood pigeons feed me and my dogs that's my choice .Most people don't like what I do that there choice.please carry on si it's your choice.👏

Hi Si, I have been watching your channel for a while now and really enjoy the content, I'm getting near retirement age and have fancied taking up the sport again, bearing in mind that I have not had a rifle for nearly 40 years and if memory serves me well it was an old BSA Meteor lol, but it was a sport I really enjoyed, used to take my son out for some fun target practice, anyway, I live in Scotland and am waiting for my AWC to come thru and in the meantime have been watching lots of content on KZfaq, I have got around £700 to play with and have been looking at the 2nd hand market on Gunstar, was thinking along the lines of Air Arms S410 and S510 and the BSA R10, Weihrauch HW110, would love to hear your thoughts on my choices or if you can recommend anything else that in your opinion is a good buy or better gun, we don't really have a great choice of air gun shops up here anymore so would probably have to travel down South to grab a good deal. Sorry for the long winded story but would really appreciate your views Best Regards Stevie

I think it's a real shame that people must be so bored, have to much time to spare , be so ill informed, read the rules and think that there interpretation of them is the only one worthwhile , have a point of view on a subject and are blind to any other, and the facts and opinions of someone giving there time helping or just entertaining if they don't tally up with there own are wrong, and they can not see or will refuse to see, when the facts and even figures come from land owners or organisations involved in this wonderful worth while sport / past time / hobby or useful needed job, which ever badge they wish to give it while hammering some poor sole. For some like my self in there retirement years with mobility and other health ( not forgetting those with mental health ) issues who make up a large percentage of us shooters find it a way of getting some exercise, and specially for those living by them selves this sport may be one of the only times they get together with other people. There's also the recognised benefits of being part of group of like minded people sharing being in the outdoors and even just being by your self enjoying the out doors to people suffering with depression. There are enough people wanting and trying very hard to shut the whole past time/hobbyside of shooting down, as well as the vital control of pests for farmers and land owners without having people who actually shoot bickering and picking up on any and everything they can , a word or comment, personal opinions etc etc, infact anything that these distructive and damaging people can find to spout off about, mostly lm very sure to belittle the contributors that try, and do such a fine job ( don't have to but choose to) of sharing there experiences, knowledge, findings, views, thoughts, tips etc of this sport/pastime ours to help inform, pass on what they have found or just for the entertainment of us all. I think more likely they hope to make people think they are more knowledgeable and clever than they so obviously are, anyway thats my rant over. Most clubs have one or more of these wonderful people, sometimes if the club is Really Lucky a seperate little club within a club, and that can be a danger in its self to smooth running of the club for its other members, so my way of dealing with them is to give a good morning and that's it, when they get all political and rightious going on and on about something so insignificant but like a dog with a bone and try to engage me with there righteousness l use that lovely Australian word " D. I. L. L. I. G. A. F. " and they either get it and leave me alone, or don't get it and don't want to look stupid, because "They Know Everything" and they leave before having to admit THERE'S SOMETHING THEY DON'T KNOW. Just as a Ps. after thought. If Si you were doing anything remotely iffy or of blurred boundaries, in the grey area, most people know what would happen by looking not that far back when so many well known shooters all over the world that uploaded onto there channels the same general style content they had been posting for many a year regular, sometimes weekly, woke up one day to find all in some cases and most in the others there content had been removed for the most suspect reasons from there channel, and had a real battle to try and get this reinstated onto there site, so as this would l think demonstrate, to anyone with more than two pidgions to rub together ( guess who ), that your comment was taken by everyone, and more importantly anyone that maters the way it was ment, so don't worry yourself mate or even think you have the need to explain yourself to anyone, coss lm sure that if you upset anyone that does matter you will know and pidgin boy, well,,,, he can rub those two pidgions together as hard as he likes he still won't matter will he..

So, I don’t see what the problem is shooting something for the pot. If it’s going to be eaten then good. A few months ago some clown shot my son’s cat with an air rifle. She had to have her leg amputated, that is what should be slated not someone shooting a pigeon to eat.
