Rangers cult hero, Lorenzo Amoruso joins Simon this week to talk through his eventful 5-year spell at Ibrox which saw him arrive as a big money signing to replace outgoing 9-in-a-row captain, Richard Gough.
The big man's time wasn't without its talking points as he became one of few men to captain the club to a treble before losing the captaincy following a bust-up with manager, Dick Advocaat. He'd go onto recover and continue his position as a leader in the dressing room to eventually help the team to become treble champions once more in his final year.
It's all in there as Lorenzo is added to our long list of candid interviews with many of British football's top names!

Grande Lorenzo ! As a Bari supporter who’s best mate is coincidently Rangers through and through we have often brought up his time in Glasgow. He truly loved Rangers and dare I say even more so than even his home club. The funny thing is I recall him playing for the biancorossi and Fiorentina and STILL believe he was far more suited to the Scot/English game than calcio. Either way, great interview and wonderful memories.

Great guy! My mate's a caddy at St. Andrews and he arranged a meet & greet with Lorenzo for me and another pal, he arrived with 2 bottles of his own brand whiskey, signed them both and gave each of us a bottle. Spent a good 40 mins with him, lovely bloke!

When I sat down to watch this one I didn't think I'd enjoy it so much. How wrong I was. One of the most passionate interviews. Could tell from hearing him speak how much he cared . Great to hear his views on being a leader and how different people can be on the pitch. Great choice and top interview.

On his day he was a beast of a centre half, solid and not a bad player with the ball at his feet, he had some amazing games for Rangers, and he does look like a Hollywood film star, Lucky guy, my wife still fancies him, good guy

It’s a shame, they did him wrong! He should have finished his career at Ibrox, a man of his word that provided the Spring link and a winning formula for the Rangers.
