Findings: Focal patchy marrow edema noted in right iliac bone at mid 1/3rd. This area displays heteorgeneous high signal intensity in fat suppressed T2 weighted images. Mild low signal intensity in T1 weighted images. Bone island seen in right femoral head. Small bone island also seen in left femoral neck. Small bony island also seen in right acetabular roof. All these areas display low signal in both T1 and T2 weighted images. No other abnormality noted in acetabular roof, femoral head/neck and proximal metaphysis. Normal marrow signal seen in these bones. Impress : Nonspecific focal patchy marrow edema in right iliac bone at mid 1/3rd.
