Technically there were two companies that did consumer Ultrawide TVs, but they were discontinued years ago and super rare.

If these projector screens are 15 - 20k as suggeted. Does that mean the resources and technology used in building these screens are higher that the actual projector itself or even a 105inch low end brand tvs? It's very stupid to see how these clowns RIP off genuine projector and theatre enthusiasts! The material and cost of producing these screens are very little. All DIY projector screen tutorials are testimony to that. Send this idea to a chinese factory and they ll produce this screen for you at less than 5k with added features! It's good to spend money where its proportional to the value an end user gets!

Top border is a little odd, casts a huge shadow on too the screen.

this was is a convention center with 100 ft ceilings with the lights about 30 feet from the screen. anything will have a shadow in that situation

Imagine if this malfunctions! You'd be stuck in the last AR or even worse, an inbetween mode!! For the price of a quality projector and this Transformer, you could practically buy the 98" Sony Z9G! Then forget about the screen jitters that all projectors give and watch anything perfect in daylight.

shame you didnt go biger with 16 by 9 that would have been perfecy as this way i might as well have wide screen smaller and use curtains left and right,

This is an amazing screen for anyone with a $100k to $250k home theater budget. JVC 4500 Laser projector. JBL Synthesis system with Trinnov for amps,speakers and DSP.
