I have quite a collection of radios, was curious to see how they performed. The sound your hearing in the video is from the radio itself, I find it easy to hear

@@BrettRobsonPhotography tecsun pl-360 or si4732 ? I'm not sure what one would be best there priced similarly. Does the tuner knob fail on most of these radios?

@@neilcampbell4833 in my experience I have had no problems however I only use this radio if I am not home, I usually have my SDRplay V2 connected

@@BrettRobsonPhotography I've just purchased one sound quality is decent enough bfo doesn't seem to do much I have mine on -200 MHz all the time. Att button does nothing on mine. It picks up more station's than my crappy r-108 shuidon radio . I can get some ham stations coming through quite clear with just the added whip aeriel. I only paid £30 for the radio I'm rather impressed. Although I don't trust the encoder as others are saying they break easily

£20 more? No a lot more than that.....at least double. I just bought my ATS-20 for $40 including shipping from Aliexpress. The 330 is $90 on Amazon right now.

I have only charged the battery once, you can charge the receiver off a portable phone battery charger if you are going out bush!

Never skipped a beat for me and had lots of fun with it connected to my W6LVP loop antenna, maybe its the luck of the draw or bogus versions

Did you update it? They all come with old firmware and software it seems. That should help a lot.

@@BrettRobsonPhotography Use the ArduinoIDE and add it on there and you will see the libraries available for Si4732. I think Ricardo Carotti's is the main one.
