Artists (mostly singers) do that all the time. Hire writers/producers to help create a project. It’s normally accepted with singers because for them, their voice is usually the talent, you could have them sing anything but you’re there for the voice. With other artists like pop stars and rappers it’s less accepted because the talent is more so supposed to be the writing of the artist than the voice but both play a part in their creative processes. Beyonce has written her own songs but she’s more the type to do it the way described in the video cause her voice and performance skills are sickening
