I agree with you, this was the sense I got from this performance. It was very good. He is very lyrical and has a full-bodied, rich tone. But it all felt very controlled and monitored from his part, as though he was careful and conscious of every note and expression he made. I mean, it wasn’t bad by any means, I just didn’t get the freedom that I look for in this concerto, especially in, say, the finale. Compare this to Isaac Stern, for example, and it’s like night and day.

Вот где мощный звук !!! - превосходное начало...чего уж там? Когда с первой ноты не отпускает - вот это и есть талант...так скажу. Лозаковский меня покорил - молодца !!! Оно понятно - у каждого свои кумиры...японцы и корейцы мне меньше всего по душе - они чаще деревянные и бездушные исполнители, которые напоминают роботов и думают покорить мировой Олимп...куда там до такого воплощения Лозаковского Калеру, Груберту или этим молодым Репину и Венгерову ?!

demasiado lento y dramatizado, han hecho pausas no justificadas, han querido darle mas sentimiento del que en realidad tiene, pero han perjudicado los tiempos.
