So beautiful the rustic quaint look is in sync with the natural surroundings of the city as i have noticed in most of the cities over there in Romania ...love it sincerely.

Was it coincidence that the tune the pianist was playing is the theme to The Godfather 😎 Or had he seen 007 Foss Brown wandering his way and decided this was the only appropriate tune to play...you decide...👍

Ha... as u said that u dont see why they call that street the most beautiful one in Sibiu thats how i dont understand why u say Sibiu is the most beautiful city in Romania. I hope u will visit Oradea and Timisoara and even Tg Mures and Cluj

In 2004, its historical center began the process of becoming a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sibiu was designated the European Capital of Culture in 2007.[5] One year later, it was ranked "Europe's 8th-most idyllic place to live" by Forbes.[6] In 2019, Sibiu was named the European Region of Gastronomy.[7] Sibiu will host the European Wandering Capital event in 2021, the most important tourist wandering event in Europe.[8][9] A European Union summit was hosted by the city in 2019. This is why Sibiu is the most beautiful city in Romania. There are many more international recognitions of Sibiu, way more than any city in Romania.

@@silviasilvia7828 but you can not find international prestigious awards for any other city in Romania than Sibiu. I know that Timisoara will be European Capital of Culture, but Sibiu was the first in Eastern Europe, in 2007.

Sibiu is the most beautiful city in Romania. Sibiu has been awarded three Michellin stars since 2011 by international tour operators. It is the only city in Romania that has received this distinction. Mărginimea Sibiului also received the Golden Apple in tourism

If people have different opinions on which is the prettiest city in Romania, let's just appreciate that it means that Romania has more than a few beautiful cities. Oradea, Timis, Sibiu, Cluj, Brasov, Sighisoara, Alba Iulia, Iasi... I will admit however that the city center in Oradea is the most beautiful in the entire country; it literally looks like it belongs to Switzerland or Luxembourg.
