Ahhh! I'm Canadian and for me season 8 was the first season I could easily access so it's the first season I watched front to back. And although I thought Bob was the most deserving winner, Chi Chi was the first queen I fell in LOVE with. Such a freaking great season. Season gr8. ❤❤

I just rewatched season 8 recently and omg! Honestly, in my humble opinion, it was the last truly stellar season. Season 9 and onward had a different flavor to it that I haven't found palletable (even though I still very much enjoy the show). Maybe it was the LOGO of it all, but seasons 1-8 are truly iconic. The best challenges, runways, drama, everything! Okay, I'm done ranting. Lol.

Possible unpopular opinion but there are a lot of S8 queens I didn't see the hype for originally but grew to love on social media and All Stars. It's fun to look back on stuff knowing behind the scenes info and firsthand insight from the queens. So glad y'all are re-watching the season!

This was the season when I first experienced going to L.A. and going to DragCon. What I liked most about that trip was meeting Bob while at DragCon. What I liked least was finding out at the last minute that the finale was being taped the day after I was booked to leave L.A. I have a hunch that they probably didn't want everyone to know that the finale was being filmed a couple of days after DragCon because they definitely didn't advertise it when I bought tickets to go to DragCon months earlier.
