In Escape from Tarkov the SICC Case is far more expensive than the Documents case, but is it really better? This is a questions I get asked on stream a lot, and honestly each has their own strengths and weaknesses, as well as differences in which specific loot they can hold.
In Escape From Tarkov the SICC Case and Documents case can both be used to greatly increase the space in your secure container. Each has their own pros and cons though, and deciding which one to use can vary from play style to play style and map to map.
The question of SICC Case vs Docs case requires you to look at your level, the map your going into it, and what your goals are.

DOCS isn't *just* good for secures, its a super wallet which is way more efficient for space than even a money case

Im not sure how much a moneycase costs right now but isn't a moneycase 49 slots at 3x2 size vs 16 slots 1 by 2 So a moneycase can hold 24.5m roubles but 3 doc's cases can only hold 24 million roubles at the same size.

@@bretert you can put 4 docs cases in a bank robber and it only takes up 6 spaces. thats what i used for my money and btc until i was high enough level to get a money case

@@nomoredeadfriends24 well shit you can put 10 in an azimut and 2 azimuts in 1 beta backpack so you can have 23 documents cases (178 million roubles) inside a 25 slot beta backpack for an average of 7.12million per slot.

i manly use theme for keys so my stash isnt flooded whit them since i need to hold on to keys even if i have already done the quest becaus friends also i think they where ceaper than keytools last wipe

The size is really important for me when I'm running shoreline I have lots of keys and still have room for tags and etc in my sicc case without having to run a keytool or tags case alongside a docs case

Truly authentic EFT player. Even has 2 Dorm Room 105 keys in his Customs SICC case. 4:52 and 5:53 The animation, transitions, emphasis, dialogue, and all that made up this video was perfect nonetheless.

I run a sicc and a docs. I primarily hit caches, jackets and safes so this gives me the flexibility to get a bunch of gp coins, btc, keys, dogtags, intelligence, small and large diaries and other high value items. (Shoreline mostly for safe runs)

I always try to get a SICC case asap. Running Shoreline Resort is torture with only 16 slots for keys, felt good getting Jaeger 4 this wipe cause of that.

I always use doc case + keybar combination. You can put so many items in the doc case if you loot PCs and cabinet drawers.

Unless you loot a shitton of cabinets you'll be fine with 5 or 6 empty slots usually. I got 3 black diaries, veritas and GP from factory Safe yesterday. Instantly filled up my docs case which was half empty

I found throwing 20k in my Docs allows me to grab vehicles etc. Also this needs a redux with the injector case etc. There are alot of ways to optimise

For me SICC is always the way to go unless im on labs, the extra size for keys is huge. Also i normally just collect all the items i need for siccs while lvling so by the time i hit max Jaegar i can buy 2-3 and start handing them out to friends.

Early wipe I take what I can get and instantly upgrade to SICC case (was Jager level 3 this wipe until they changed it). Really just like the extra space, and will swap a CMS or Splint out for a tall or small diary. I do run a Docs case on Reserve and it sucks because of the lack of tag compatibility. For that map I just run the tags in my bag and am usually on the way to extract after a couple kills worth of loot

I like to get a few Doc cases and 1 sicc case to hold money till Money Case and sicc case for everything I am alright with moving 1 key at a time so the doc cases act as key holder or money holder till I get better stuff usually around 35-40 I have 3 docs and 1 sicc thats it. I don't really run a keyholder but if I find one I will keep one to hold keys and sell any others I find because 1x1 is better than a 1x2

I keep dog tags where ever I find them, usually if I find someone friendly and they get killed, I try to get the dog tag of them and put it in my secure container before I die/escape

sicc case was usefull when u could buy it from the flea cuz i never get to high level or anything in this game cuz i dont play it enough. so i always tend to stick with a docs case. maybe a docs+key chain for loot runs on customs

typically i run sicc for snoreline but i take docs for pretty much everything else. Just too many keys to carry for snoreline that a docs isn’t enough.

Dear Airwing, I'm sitting on about 14 mil right now and just built myself my library and air filtration units- so I've been grinding hideout management to get those juicy boosts. What are the fastest, most efficient crafts I could do to grind the stat quickly? Or should I just eat the cost and cycle back and forth between the fastest crafts per unit? Also, I feel like I'm way too late into the wipe to be buying my own GPUs, am I mistaken? Thanks!

Early wipe till I get a SICC case I religiously run a dogtags case with my doc's case. Dogtags are just to valuable to leave in raid and yet can take up a majority of space in your inventory. My typical gamma lvl 15-40 is a docs case, dogtag case, surv12, ibuprophen, stack of extra ammo, and a CAA 74u handguard for accessories. I feel like this gives me the most bang for the buck survivability and ammount of space to bring things out of raid I can vendor or use later(attachments) if I do catch the magical 1 tap from nowhere. Plus If I find something really good I can always put the sur12 in the backpack for 3 slots of gamma space. If I want to carry 1 extra stack of ammo then I will cms instead of surv12 it.

Each wipe, I use both of them on my runs on Customs, Reserve and Shoreline. SICC for Keys, money and dog tags and empty Doc case. When I raid, I can loot every valuable items from markeds, safes, drawers, jackets and boss pockets. Despite this I am often full and have to sort it out during my raids. At the end, I often have USB flashdrives, SSD, SAS and a lot of keys and even if I die I often have 120-150k of keys to sell to Therapist on me. Even more useful with the dynamic loot and now with the GP event. These 2x2 slots can really make you rich if you use them very well even if u die. Just, pick up it all :D

I do the same and IMO it's one of the biggest reasons EOD is way better than standard, you can run these combos earlier and even 1 slot more compared to the epsilon. Its a little boost that pays for gear lost if you die that adds up overtime, making EOD much easier go stay afloat on.

Neither, as I’m a standard player. Sometimes I’ll bring one of the two but it takes up half my container and if I want something in my container that I can’t put in either of the cases that’s more than 2 slots I’m screwed.

I keep dog tags to help, to help my friends get the Lucky SCAV for them. I already helped two. takes time, but they get or they try to save or level their stash house.

Early wipe bronze lions are super expensive on the flea, so dont even consider the barter with the 12.12 wipe unless BSG make it cheaper to access.

The price of the docs case sits with that barter. It's still cheaper even early wipe, especially if you get one non-fir out of raid. Even at 700-800k ruble purchase price, the docs case is worth it for how much loot you will get out with it vs whiteout it. Your choice is usually to sell a lion for 400k, or barter for a docs case. The later is a better choice in the long run.

They patched it when they reduced the weight of the ssd drives. I used to use this method. Now I bring 4 kolpaks, or a bunch of shotgun ammo. I like the kolpak method because I always get them back from insurance. It’s a win/win.

Depends on the loot you go after in what maps. Customs has less decent keys so you might as well use a docs case for Intel if you find some in crackhouse. While shoreline on the other hand has far more decent keys and needs a sicc case

I do agree if you are loot running, and probably on Labs a docs case is more worthwhile. The extra space in gamma and space for keys makes it greater. Docs is needed early game, however once sicc is available, I rarely ever use a docs.
