Classical guitars are our passion! We are specialized in the highest quality concert guitars as well as historic guitars from around the world. Our passion for these unique instruments and the joy to give guitarists, passionate players, and collectors the possibility to purchase their own appropriate instrument is the motivation that drives us. Another focus is to work closely with established and young, largely unknown luthiers. Together we want to develop new ideas and share experiences with our customers. We also recorded pieces for many great composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Astor Piazzolla and Isaac Albeniz (Asturias). You will also find almost all the classical music composers that wrote for the classical guitar. There was a famous incident where Andres Segovia stopped playing and handed the cougher a handkerchief and told him to cover his mouth. Not sure if it was the Chaconne though.

That or the person does the right thing and gets up to leave but lets the door SLAM behind them. Nothing like that little electrical storm in the back of the roof of your mouth at the wrong time. Makes your eyes water trying to contain it.

@@civilenggggg I think he means another well known interpretation of Asturias (on KZfaq) where someone in the audience is silently coughing throughout the whole piece.

Probably the most evocative recital of the piece I know of, the landscape just comes to life here, with all the soul and emotion. And the right guitar for that, as well.

What kind of guitar did you get Mr Davis was it a classical with a nylon strings or a regular acoustic with steel bronze strings

@@johnryan527 It’s a regular acoustic with steel strings. I’ve switched them to ver light (10 - 47) strings. Guess I’m so old I forgot my age - I’m actually 69 now - too many birthdays!

As a 68 yo who had a band in the 60's, I used to think I was a decent guitar player. My goodness this was excellent. For yourself, no you won't accomplish anything like this, but you can still have a lot of fun

WOW. I think I've seen every version of this piece, and they've all followed the same technical pattern, with very little interpretation. I'm very happy to see such a marvelous performance with additional coloring and expression -- even at the end with muted strings. How refreshing. Well done!

Me gustó la distribución temporal que Anabel Montesinos le dió a los compases De Isaac Albéniz. No sé nada de música pero creo que al tocar Asturias en Guitarra se debe tomar en cuenta primordialmente este aspecto.

Wonderful interpretation, colourful, much expression, good timing, I just love it. As Ivry Gitlis always said, you have to tell a story not just to play the music. I'm sure that he would love this performance as well. And may be he is listening from the other side. Who knows?
