Just bought a 2001 Rodeo. Lovin it so far. I've had a lot of 4x4s. This one is quickly becoming my fave.

6 years ago my uncle had red 1997 isuzu rodeo 4wd. It only 55,000 miles on it and it was fully loaded for a excellent price,but until one morning on his way to work he fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed into a tree at 50 mph. Luckily he survived with little to no injuries but the rodeo didn't make it back on the road. I'm just glad he's still alive that's what counts,and congrats to those Passport & Rodeo owners out there who continue to own,drive,and enjoy them.

I have a 95 rodeo ,I bought it in Fair Banks,Alaska five years ago ,drove it all the way down to Mexico,still have it,great suv never never let me down

Yo tengo una rodeo 98 y se siente bastante seguro donde quieras ir de paseo en calle en buenas condiciones son rápidas y al entrar en caminos de difíciles tenés todo para no quedarte sin ver tu paisaje.son tan confiables que una vez un pick se fue a detener en una esquina y fue poco lo que causó en cambio el otro se deterioro bastante..quizás hablando por cell..pero solo se le arruinó el pick Up ..Gracias a Dios que nadie resultó lesionado..por eso lo veo que la familia viaja segura..y conduciéndolo con responsabilidad..

man my 300zx is taking forever to build an i really need something to drive till then... i cannot stop looking at rodeo's and honda passports. i want one so bad now! but im scared ill just be throwing money into it to make it badass like the Z hahaha! awesome vid though. thanks for egging me on... haha

im an owner of a black 2001 isuzu rodeo, im in love with this car. im gonna get cragar d-window wheels, a bull bar. and a 1.5" ome lift so it wil be a 3" lift.. im so excited to do it. my favorite SUV.:D

Proud owner of a 95 Rodeo sitting on 33s currently, looking for 38s to go on! Its engine and trans was upgraded to a 350 v8/350 turbo trans with 205 transfercase on 1/2 ton axles currently, looking to upgrade those soon as well! I love the truck, just one of those vehicles you have to love or hate :D I have around 10 or 12 inches of total lift, fabbed all my own mounts. still going through some trial and errors with some of the upgrades though! great rides in the video :D

As a fellow planetisuzoo member, it cool too see all the awesome rodeos/passports. Although I was kinda bummed I didnt make it on there either lol oh well

i love my 1995 isuzu 4x4 truck,3 inch body lift and 3 inch lift ,front and rear aussie lockers.33 inch AT's and custom winch mount and 12,000 lb winch

Isuzu Rodeos and Honda Passports super undervalued...find one with the tranny done and no rust... 250k miles easy and currently 1/4th the price of anything Toyota.

After installing the front winch bumper and a two inch suspension lift it was a good suv for anything. Before that it was good for anything suv as long as you didn't have any gear or friend with.

i have a 01 rodeo and were having a lot of problems,if you find one good luck with it frame, ignition, front end are all the issues for now, and its only a year into it

I only know of two companies; 'Independent 4x' & Calmini. To be honest, you can save $900 and just put in coil spacers in the rear, and torsion crank the front to get 3" without limiting your travel. You'll need to swap out the shocks, and ESPECIALLY drop the front dif or you'll replace the CV shaft/boot every 20k miles. Planetisuzoo forums can link you to the part that will help drop it.

I used to own a 91 2wd Rodeo XS & a 95 4wd Rodeo LS, loved em both. they handled great & the 95 was a beast. I sold them because I was moving & now I'm wanting to get another one & build it up as much as I street-legally can. Could some of you please message me with links or site names where I can find lift kits, rock sliders, & other good stuff? I already know about Rocky Road, Calmini, Independent 4x, & 4wheel online. thanks in advance if you can help.

Oh man this are great SUVs.! I have an 2001 rodeo Ls, it's up to 106K miles and I've only had to replace the tensioner pulley about 2K miles ago. Was considering a body lift or suspension lift kit, if any of you guys know any PM please.

@bluejacketsman86 Well in spirit they are. You see, Honda was looking for an SUV to add to their lineup and asked Isuzu if they could essentially steal the design of the Isuzu Rodeo…smartest decision they ever made.

@guitars4 I am thinking about buying a 2 door 2001 Isuzu Rodeo 4wd and have a few questions. My 1999 Cherokee 4wd was t boned by anoher SUV and totaled a few days ago. Will the Rodeo be as good off road and is IFS really as bad as they say on the Cherokee forum off road ? It only has two modes(auto and 4 low) does that mean it's 4wd full time ? I saw the button on the dash for 4wd so i assumed its 2wd unless you press the button ? It has 160k miles should I be okay ? It's in perfect knick.

My 98 Rodeo is next in line to lift, customize, and re-paint. Any suggest sites or places to buy bush guard, tires, and lift kits, for a cheap/reasonable price?

okay so i have a 2000 honda passport. but since isuzu rodeos are the same i got a question. i have 4x4 problems. when you push the 4x4 button and wait for the light on the dash to stop blinking....it never does. relay problem? any ideas?

rodeo/passport = most rugged and durable SUV created I just dont understand why Isuzu had to stop making them in the US

My 98 rodeo has a Calmini lift kit coming tomorrow. New bumper and winch are gonna ship soon I hope. Got some nerf bars already. Need them for the wife to be able to get in. Anybody know of a 200 amp alternator that is made for the rodeo? All I've found are the generic ones.

Hondas are more because its honda....just because ppl believe they are better branded then the isuzus nlast long with better quality plus better resale value
