He was taken to Road to Refuge Sanctuary where his new mom Megan took care of him and helped him get stronger, and she even discovered that he could see! Now he loves to run around with and headbutt his cow and goat BFFs.

Is so heartbreaking when baby cows are separated from their mother at birth. people are puzzled why baby cow is crying and depressed. Hmmm. What could it be🤔 I could imagine how mama is going through. 😞 Oh well.. yummy milk for us.🤗

Your welcome I rescued a leapord geko from a pet shop it was starving and it had stuck shed on her toes she had bit them off and she was starving in a 5gallon tank with 1meal worn and one hide😢 but now she has a 30gallon exoterra tank and lots of hids and no sand

Of course he was crying. Animals do cry, shock! He was removed from his mother and clearly was very depressed. Glad things turned around for him.

It is probably the mom thing but if he was skin and bones that means mom was only make enough milk for one and or they were both bottle fed because mom died or rejected them or never produced enough milk to feed them and their diet was messed up but probably because he didn’t know where mom was🙁

The rancher often takes the calf away from the mom if it's going to be held for veal. Because the calf had suspected health issues and the rancher thought it might be blind, the rancher likely neglected to give him sufficient nourishment. Good thing the rescuers got him just in time to give a happy life. We love our animal rescuers!

Whoever this remarkable woman is, i adore her! Anyone who empathises with our animal friends is a superstar to me. Anyone who gives up their own time and even their own HOME to help an animal is quite literally a demigod to me. God bless you sister. There a millions of people like her that do rescue and save animals, bring the animals back to health, spend a lot f money to save the animal, spend hours and hours sitting and feeding the rescued animal. People out there have a big heart that love animals and go out of their way to do whatever it takes to get that animal healthy and strong again. And people do the same for other people also. Sadly because of social media and the news media, they rarely talk about the great things people do for other’s everyday.

@@mikalsfriend7626 because when you’re starving your body starts to preserve energy and nutrients by shutting down the more non important things you have such as the 5 senses. If you are starving and dehydrated your body will shut down your eyes causing you to go blind. Usually once you eat and regain energy your sight is returned but I think sometimes that isn’t the case.

There are multiple types of blindness that can be reversed. It can be caused by clots, some are phychological and malnutrition can also be a factor.

Calf’s are so cute. I didn’t realize, until last summer while visiting a friends farm, that calf’s were so playful. I would just sit and watch them jump and kick , chase and head butt each other. It was funny 😄.

@@ayartans7920 if we all went vegan, it would lead to an acceleration in deforestation. And combine that with no more slaughter. The cow population would skyrocket. Cows emit tons of carbon dioxide, which is released into our atmosphere. If cow population suddenly jumps from people going vegan, humans would slowly depopulate leading to extinction.

@@time-pass5897 I wouldn't. I don't even consume dairy. Dairy is cruel too. Cow doesn't give US the milk. They give because they're artificially inseminated again and again and their children are separated after birth so they aren't able to drink the milk.

Try not eating /drinking dairy. You would be amazed at all the options these days. I even made carmel sauce without dairy. taste was just as delicious. imported cheese was my favorite food for over 40 yrs. After viewing many videos of the lives of cows and calves I knew I would commit to never eating dairy again and I haven't. we are lucky b/c now there are so many options that are tasty. Eating plant based /Ethical feels and tastes great. Cashew mild ice cream (closest taste to cow's milk), Myoko's butter (no palm oil, organic, comes wrapped in paper-no plastic) and cheese....soy milk org. unsweetened. Think of the animals in our world. Love the animals. Be healthy.

Beautiful babies and beautiful humans. When I first got my adopted cat, her eyes were like that. I thought she was crying but the foster said those were not tears, it will go away.... but I do think it came from sadness.

They have other uses as well. Cow blood is used to test medical equipment because there is no synthetic substance that can mimic human blood as closely (and it needs to be blood so machines used to separate white blood cells from red blood cells can be realistically tested for function and efficiency). Though I would have to agree that the brutality in meat breeding needs to be reined in. There are ways (usually on smaller farms) to give an animal a good quality of life before it is slaughtered for meat.

Cows/calves can be just as loving sweet as dogs. It's a pity they're ripped from their moms and many butchered for meat.

Cows milk are said to be equal to mothers milk hence they are special motherly creature please don’t kill them for your flesh eating addition. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 becomes a better human to the society and don’t be a sinner by killing this motherly creature.
