That is true! Pray that I receive the Holy Ghost with the scriptural evidence of tongues. I have never been able to receive in 38 years of being saved.

@@gloriamcqueen2031 that's what I did when I first heard about the Holy Ghost. Nothing happened. Then as I learned more, I started going to Pentecostal churches and going to the altar. Still nothing. I don't expect it to happen any more because I've been turned down so many times. Imsanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. If I'm anything, it's not insane! Compounding my problem, I'm almost totally deaf and can't hear instructions. I try to tell them I'm deaf and can't hear them, so they just scream louder. Makes me want to punch them! It's so frustrating. Then there are people who will condemn you because you haven't gotten it. I am floundering around wondering how to fulfill my calling and not having the Helper to guide me.

Dont give up if you can fast for 24 hrs trust and believe GOD wants you to speak in tongues because it is our pray language you already have the holy spirit living inside of you u are his child and he loves you!

The women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples (Matthew 28:8). When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others (Luke 24:9). Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid. (Mark 16:8)

@@nicholasflamel1134 Mark 16:8 They fled in fear. In other words while they were running they stopped to tell no one. Once they arrived Mark gives record that Mary Magdalene told the eleven. He personally doesn't continue with giving detail about the other women also telling the eleven. Maybe because he felt that Mary Magdalene was the first so the main one to tell it. However, it was all recorded in the gospels.

Christians should use this HIATUS to spend time in prayer for : 1) repentance 2) for the Church, 3) for the world, and 4)for our leaders in government offices. There is SO MUCH WORK to be done on this earth BEFORE Yeshua returns for His Bride, the Church! So many Christians have gotten caught up with their own earthly affairs, goals, and dreams. Thank you for the encouragement. Please pray that I overcome temptation victoriously and that my son is brought back home and freed from his current living situation. A prophet shared years ago that he would be living with me full time before he turned 12 and my son turns 12 this year. His mother has completely manipulated the the situation, ruined one relationship and tried to come against my new marriage. She has said horrible things about my step son and God has wonderful plans for our family. I want us to be made whole and to be blessed to be a blessing! Please pray for us.

Trust God, we only see what is in front of us, He see the tiniest of cells in our bodies! He made it all! Many do not realize that God made everything, even outer space, the planets! Dear Sid Roth, I look at butterflies picture on your room wall and remember that 1 month before Christmas I felt few hundreds butterflies moving in my belly like a wave and with close eyes sitting in hairdresser chair under hair dryer pot and I also could see them they were double coloured ends of wings sky blu, and middle salad green and those colours were sparkly like blue&green dust of gold.... Holy Spirit was moving that day in very unusual way for me when I was just thinking about someone... That day never repeated again... but is wonderful to remember it... There are a couple of areas which need attention. It's God's ability to give protection to his people. We see this in two areas. 1. Is Psalm 91 2. During Paul's Journey to Rome he experienced a huge miracle. After he pronounced that everyone on the ship would be saved. A ship wreck occurs and everyone is saved just like he told everyone they would be. Then while on the beach his associates notices Paul get bitten by a deadly viper, and he shakes off this venomous poisonous snake. The people are seeing God's hand on his life as he is not affected by this snake bite.

Speaking in tongues is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Not everyone is chosen to do this. And it makes no sense to speak in tongues when there is no one present to interpret it. People, please read your Bible.

I often think of the poor fellow who is born without being able to talk and is born again. Never would he be able to "prove" he is full of the spirit ..

I took the flu vaccine in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. I got the flu for the first time since my Nissan fundoplication of 2005, every year after taking the listed flu vacinnes and I was not supposed to be able to vomit, but I did. Lord showed me in mid March as I was laying in bed I flipped the Bible to a page where He spoke to me about the timing it’s in 2 Chronicles ch 7:13,14 When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain or command locusts to devour the land or send a plaque among my people. If my people who are called by my name will Humble Themselves and Pray Seek My Face and Turn from their wicked ways...Repentance plays a big role but this is what the Lord showed me in beginning of March when I was asking Him about it all... Acts 7: 43: "Yea, you took up the tabernacle of MOLOCH, and the star of your god Remphan(=Ashtoreth), the idols you made to worship;" This Stephen's speech to Sanhedrin refers to what Israelis did during 40 years in the wilderness. They made a golden calf in those days, and offered sacrifice(=child offerings) unto the idol. This golden calf is still on display before the building of New York Stock Exchange. The Bible calls on Israelis to repent of their sin and come to realize that Jesus has offered himself on the Cross as Passover Lamb in place of Child offerings. Jesus is the Messiah, the one true Son of God. Until the time comes, Israelis will not see the glory of God in the house of Israel.

You do not need to know how. It is not knowledged based. Jesus said to ask the Father and he will give the Holy Ghost to those who ask. In Acts 2 Peter gives the order of what we should do and then God will fill you as HE promised.

Our salvation comes from repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ as the propitiation for our sin. Paul flatly denies that all believers will share the same spiritual gifts. That doesn't mean you cannot earnestly pursue that gift, but getting it or not getting it is no measure of salvation or lack thereof. Even if you did get it, that would be no foul-proof evidence of saving faith, since "many will come to [Him] on that day and say, 'Lord, Lord. Did I not cast out demons and do all sorts of spiritual gifts'" and He will say, "depart from me, I never knew you." Put Your faith in Jesus alone. Your renewed hatred for sin and love for righteousness will be the evidence of true salvation.

Please don't out any faith in religion or man, it's worth nothing. Jesus is the only way, truth, and light, man will always disappoint you but he never will. Justice in this wicked world is a thing of the past until the wrath of God, we're in the last days. Trust in the blood of Jesus alone and forsake your sins, live for God. It's the only and best way, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 10:9-10!!!
