Sid has an issue with Rougned Odor & the Rangers celebrating so emphatically in August considering their stance on Jose Bautista's bat-flip in last year's ALDS. He doesn't hold back.

+Anth150 Bautista was on queer street from that punch. His legs were very wobbly. Crazier things have happened, but very very doubtful that he would've done anything to Odor. When Daniel Cormier, Karen Bryant, and Kenny Florian are breaking down on UFC Tonight what a clean punch he landed, that should tell you something.

A little medicine for the Rangers fans celebrating their 80 wins...Sure, the Jays have won 4 less games than the Rangers but the stats tell the real story. Toronto Vs Texas Team ERA: 3.69 - 4.28Runs scored : 653 - 635Homers: 196 - 177OPS: 768 - 753So how is it that the Jays have superior stats...better ERA and more runs scored, yet the Rangers have a better record? Answer: The Blue Jays play in a much harder division. The Jays play in the AL East where 4/5 teams are + .500, and regularly play Boston, Baltimore and New York. The Rangers play in the West where only 3/5 teams are + .500 and play crap teams like L.A., Seattle, and Oakland. This is born out in the Rangers record against AL-East teams. The Rangers have a .500% record (16 wins 16 loses) against AL East teams including a record of 3 wins 4 loses against the Jays. Meanwhile the Jay's record against AL-West is 14 - 12 (.5384%)Lets also not forget that the Jays have managed to win 76 games, in the toughest division in baseball, while only having their full starting lineup for 6 games this year. At one point they lost 2/3rds of their outfield for 2 weeks and their superstar shortstop and 3rd basement as well.
@OmarMohammed-vs6jl7 жыл бұрын
true. I think the jays are one of the most overlooked teams in baseball

That dirty slide into 2nd base by Bautista could've given Odor a career ending injury. He deserved to hit in the mouth for that. Nobody talks about how dirty that slide was.
@Ellamendoza5817 жыл бұрын
That was completely unintentional, they joked around about it, and he apologized. Bautista was trying to punk Odor, he even lifted up his fist after he got up. He played with matches, and he got burned. Bat flips get fat lips. And don't be so cocky just yet, yall only have a one game lead in your division and they play the red sox six more times and the orioles three more times. They don't exactly have an easy path to make the post season.
@alexhardy137 жыл бұрын
+Jesse Mendoza Yeah I know if only we had a trash division like yours.
@justinfischer67057 жыл бұрын
You do realize odor is one of the dirtiest sliders in the game.
@Ellamendoza5817 жыл бұрын
+Justin Fischer Just because he's able to dodge a tag better than anyone in the game, doesn't make him a dirty slider. Like I said earlier, Bautista tried to intimidate and punk Odor by sliding like that into him, he even got up and raised a fist at Odor too. Watch the replay. It wasn't a cheap shot, by any means, Bautista just got what was coming to him. When you try to bully people, eventually you'll run into someone who fights back. And whenever a bully gets bullied, they usually cry and complain just like Bautista did.

@nitwit1966able6 жыл бұрын
Another thing, yes, we choked two years in a row. I say that, but that does not mean that you have to rub it in our faces. Another thing, this might be an excuse, but we live in the heat of Texas and play in the heat of Texas. Toronto gets to play in a full air conditioned dome and they don't get overheated.

JackPlaysMC Bautista was in his mid 30's, had never been to the postseason, hit the biggest home run IN HIS LIFE, won the first Blue Jays playoff series in OVER 20 YEARS, and he's not allowed to be overcome with emotion? When you're in a moment like that, you don't think, you just do.

Texas has choked in the post season so many times it's honestly starting to get kinda sad. you guys have no heart, no grit. in the biggest moments, and I mean the moments that really matter, you guys shrink up and give it all away. even Jose bautista is clutch, hes a douchebag but man he's clutch, and has been for years. no one is afraid of your team, and never will be until you get real winners on your team. You should check the Rangers schedule and compare that to the Jays schedule. Rangers have played the Mariners and Astros 15 times each racking up 22 wins against those two crappy teams.. They've only had to play Baltimore and Boston 7 times each up to this point whereas the Jays have played them both for a combined 30 games. As far as I'm concerned, reaching 80 wins is nothing to be happy about since you're constantly playing sub 500 teams.

Go Rangers!
@rafcool307 жыл бұрын
I think you missed the point. When Jose Bautista hit a walk-off Home Run against the Rangers last year and bat flipped, mind you, during the playoffs, game 5 of the ALDS, arguably during the biggest games in Jays history, the Rangers crucified him and were oh so pissed at him for bat flipping when he just hit the biggest home run of his career, saying it's disrespectful, etc. But here are the rangers and odor, celebrating a walk-off like crazy and bat flipping in a REGULAR SEASON game (not playoffs), and yet they crucify others for doing the same thing. It's just ironic.
