The cherry on top was how they also brought in Dietrich Bader from Brave & the Bold to voice Batman in this, having someone who played Batman straight before now do this version made the comedy and legit emotional moments hit that much harder :3

I loved this entire series, especially how it subverted so much while staying true to the lore (one of my favorite parts was the Joker getting elected as mayor on a reform platform and actually improving things) Insert comment on how Velma tried to do something like that and totally fucked it up here...

This episode was just really special. I wish DC live action movies could be this good.

Honestly, it's just nice to see Harley portrayed as intelligent. Especially after hearing Kevin Conroy, the most empathetic Batman, call her stupid in Arkham Asylum & City (the one thing I give Knight is that Joker constantly chews Batman out for being such an asshole to his Rogues, as an extension of Bruce's conscience and with the meta context that the writers were apologizing for how mean Batman was in the previous two games thanks to Paul Dini who became a lot less sympathetic to criminals after someone mugged him and put him in the hospital). I balk at Harley Quinn because it showed child death in like the first episode, but it's done good work.

Ivy looks Amazing in that dress at the theater, especially with her hair all big & flowey.

10:45 that becouse you havent been thinking about it every time it get re told. a lot of times Batman stories re tell batman origin to make a point about something. and people just miss the whole thing. like let say. Batman V superman... the point of showing you the death of the waynes. is to make you ask .. how is the trauma of metropolis destruction gonna affect batman and the world? what Harley Quinn show did was pulish lot of ideas that had been brough up by other media and series.. batman is being slowly perfected ... and better understood

I'm generally positive on Harley Quinn, like Bane, King Shark, this might be my favorite clayface who's the world's biggest ham actor, and Harley and Ivy's relationship. And how they both respect Batman and its legacy while deconstructing it ie that Yeah, Batman is an insane, hyper-violent manchild with mommy issues. If I had any major complaints, it's generally 1. All the "good guys" are either assholes, losers, psychopaths, or worthless. 2. Do not care for this version of The Joker and 3. It steps one too many times into the already getting very dated and annoying trend of writing of being too meta for it's own good, "comedy" at the worst spots, and it feels like everyone has to be the fast talking at very loud volumes, raunchy, hyper violent, explain the joke carbon copy of each other. Or maybe I'm just a grumpy old man who's soured on adult animation because so little of it is the good stuff that's not anime

Maybe u should consider doing individual episode reviews of series cr. A lot of KZfaqrs do that now and it seems to do good for them
