If the Sun went out , earth would fly off tangentially to its orbit of rotation around the sun and then stop if other celestial bodies' gravitational force of attraction acts on it . (Not stop like a car but it's velocity would reduce) and might even orbit that celestial body depending upon the mass of the celestial body and its distance from Earth. 2. About the summer thing , Simon was talking about , summer only exists because of the relative closeness of the Sun to the Earth as compared to the other seasons. Since Sun would go out , it won't matter how distant earth was from it . 3. I want y'all to know think about what would happen to the moon :) .
