Our statue of Mystique was painted great. The only issue we had with her was a weaker magnet on the right arm, but lucky it sits in place right. The Easter egg was great. Thank you for the review.

This piece deserved every criticism you gave it!

One year later and most collectors are now looking for this mystique. especially the ex version. The XM is nice but came out overscale and does not display well with other 1/4 xmen statues.

It’s very sad...I just got into collecting statues and so many pieces excite me..I’ve had some QC issues already myself and see many more on Sideshows Facebook site. It’s like there is no Quality control going on at all. So many paint issues. They are charging a premium for these pieces...pay for better work. Fire bad painters. I saw some paint job on the new Thor that is scaring me pretty bad. I want that piece really bad as well but they are letting amateurs do the paint somewhere over seas. This is their brand name! I hope they get it together fast. Awesome review as always! Love your channel!

OMG the silly string had me rolling!! Damn thats sad because I really liked this one especially because she uses her powers. From a distance she looks great on your video. The problems really hurt my heart. I was rooting for this one to be really good. Great video though.

Yes my Brethren! After being so impressed with both Wolvie and Mags I really don't know how they seem to have gotten the paint so very wrong on this piece. The whole sculpt, pose and base is Beautiful but what a disappointment with the paint and nonexistent QC! There was so little that they could get wrong with this characters colour way but they seem to have managed it. Let's hope they get their act together with Rogue who is even more expensive and my incoming X23. I can't help but feel it ironic that a character that can morph seamlessly with her Mutant gene has such visible seems! Great and honest review as always though which is hugely appreciated! Peace and 1ove from The Last Dread-I inna England!

I want to like this piece, and some aspects of it, I do like. Do I like her enough to purchase her? Nope. Maybe somewhere down the line, but not in a rush to get her. The SS Emma Frost is a much better pick up imo. Great review Jorge.

I think there is this one factory that SS uses for their less "important" pieces and they do an absolutely terrible job and don't qc anything at any point in the production process, the Carnage PF I returned had to of come from the same factory as this because that Carnage had literally 7 or 8 issues that were all individually bad enough to warrant a refund if only one of them were there, some similar issues to this but the Carnage was much worse

Also, would recommend you get the iron studios antman before it sells out. Best ant man statue I’ve seen and a steal for the price! Mine just arrived... I know it’s small but it is everything mystique is not!

$300 come on George you know sideshow is not that friendly, maybe free shipping lol. Anyways, great review and yeah SS needs to delay statues an extra month and get that QC done right.

ES are 600 (exclusive) and 1200 (regular). Looks QC was done in a hurry. Maybe 2nd batch will be better. If not, companies should better delay release few months and invest into QC to avoid returns. Cool review including soundtrack and windstorm.

I was watching your review when UPS showed up. Opened the box and damn what an unfortunate failure by sideshow. I knew I was screwed when I watched this.

OMG thank you... I thought I was the only one that had a crappy paint job..my base and head look good, everything else is badly painted. She looks good from far, horrible from up close. So disappointed :(

Honestlyiis the best policy. I got mine in a couple of days. Hopefully it won't be that bad, if it is I'm going to really considering sending it back. It seems that this statue is as bad as LION-O.

Agree with your review. Was a bit disappointed when I unboxed it and put it together ( on the same day Wonder Woman arrived... which was in a different league!) but I have to say it’s grown on me. I have it with magneto, sabre tooth and dark Phoenix and it looks great there. I’ve not displayed the x23 arm as for me it looks much better balanced with the guns. I agree it’s overpriced

In the last 3yrs their prices have doubled and still the same ol problems...

In all honesty it’s best to not even preorder any more from them and just wait for the statue to come out and base it on the first few reviews.If satisfied with outcome then by all means go ahead and purchase.I think Sideshow forgets that some of us aren’t made of money and strife to save and put aside for their statue’s.a little frustrating.

I think you are too fussy. This statue is just over USD 500.00. You factor in the workmanship, the delivery, goodness.... you expect perfection. It's NOT $5K! It's just only slightly USD 500.00! I see the close ups and I think it's very acceptable. Stop nitpicking.
