It's very likely he was killed by the Indian government. Most in Panjab know this. Only powerful gangs/shooters employed by the government have access to that level of weaponry and impunity. Not too long before his death he got into politics, to change things, for the better, he was for the people of Panjab - there are many ongoing discriminatory, persecutory issues against the Sikh's and Panjab in general which has been leading to mass migration out of the country. The actual shooters used high end automatic weapons that only the govt/police/military have access to, not to mention the grenades they had on them if the guns didn’t do the job. No way regular gangs or people have access to grenades. Sidhu also spoke on Khalistan - an independent autonomous Panjab, the Sikh’s and Panjab want independence and liberation from India. But India doesn’t like this so much, so jails and executes any Sikh’s who speak of freedom. Also there was no lockdown of the area after his killing, like would normally happen, they allowed the shooters to escape state. Here in India, the gangs/shooters who have access to this kind of weaponry and impunity are the right hand of the government, want someone gone, easy.

the goat. sort of the tupac shakur of India, has had the same kind of impact on Indian hip hop. he was assassinated last year on may 29. only son to his parents. during his last rites, millions of people came to the ceremony. after more than a year, still continues to be the biggest independent artist in india. never talked about drugs in his songs or objectified women. he stayed in his village amongst his village and stayed true to himself always. as his career went on, he started talking against the establishment about fake media, supression of his community and their rights. he also educated a lot of people through his music about historical figures. a lot of young people started wearing the turban as sidhu preached how important it is to follow our culture and never forget our traditions. he was assassianted as a result of "gang violence".

Sidhu was very loved he stood for Punjab and it’s people. Punjab is the only majority Sikh state in India, they are a small population of India, compared to the majority. His legacy courage and kindness will live on - invincible never fold never back down, they had to take his life, he reminded and educated the whole of Punjab of theirs Rights and government is also involved in his murder, orchestrating it. Sidhu also spoke on Khalistan - the name for an independent autonomous Panjab, which the Indian government really don’t like. The Sikh's have an extensive military and warrior background and culture. The right to bear arms/have weapons for protection of self and others, against tyranny, is baked into the religion - the concept of saint soldier. This could explain the weapons but also this song was about tupac but I guess it also applies to Sidhu
