He was getting death threats his entire career because he gained too much success too fast and refused to compromise or bow down to the powers that were trying to control him. The government took away his security and announced it in the news a day before he was assassinated even though they had information about the threat he was facing because he had run from the opposing party to the one that won. The person that took responsibility for his murder has been in jail for years but still is able to run his gang and illegal activities because he has government support. He has not even been summoned in front of a judge in over a year for the murder and has done two interviews on national news from jail after the murder so that should give you an idea of how much political support he has to have to confess to murder and still be able to do all this and face no consequences. Unfortunately the people that stand up and fight for what's right don't get to live very long. That's why he made a lot of songs mentioning his death because he knew that he was making enemies in powerful places.
