You read my mind with this method of bezeling your rivoli! I have been looking for a way that uses minimal beads to allow the rivoli to shine for itself! Perfect!

I modified this pattern to fit a 14mm rivoli by using 12 3mm bicones with 12 15/0's in between and only 3 15/0's in the 2nd & 3rd rows if anyone finds this helpful.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I'm on YT since August so don't feel sorry for not finding me before. :) My boyfriend tells me that my voice is too low and that I should speak louder but when I concentrate on the beading I always forget to keep the voice high. :) So I appreciate very much when you say that I am soft spoken. :)) Big hugs, Sidonia

Hi Sidonia. I love your way to bezel very much. Not too much over the stone. Can I use the same technique to bezel a cabochon 13×18 mm? (With 3 mm bicones and 15/0 seedbeads) Thank you so much in advance. Love, Jolanda
@Sidoniasbeadedjewelry6 жыл бұрын
Hi and thank you, Jolanda! Yes, you can, you'll just need to figure out yourself how to close/cover the back side, but that shouldn't be too difficult, once you made the row of units around the stone. Just play with the beads, and don't worry if you'll need to make a few attempts, that's exactly how I learned too. :)

What size seed beads do you use? I've tried 11/o delicas, 11/o tohos with 15/o and I still can't seem to get it right? What am I doing wrong?
@Sidoniasbeadedjewelry10 жыл бұрын
You'll need Miyuki 15/0s. Tohos will not work, because they are a little bit bigger than Miyukis, even if of the same size.

Hi Sidonia, thank you for posting this you tube instruction. I have used it several times now and I am currently trying to reduce the pattern to fit a 12mm rivoli without much luck. I have used the pattern as is and find that its too much to pull in to fit tightly at the back and have also tried reducing the sizing without much luck. Are you able to help me with the correct pattern, please. Thank you in advance for your kind help. Betty

I have not tried this technique on this size of cab yet, but, I did bezeled a 30x22 cab; here it is Sidonia's handmade jewelry - 30x22mm Swarovski cabochon ring if you didn't already see it, of course. :-)

Dear Sidonia do you think I can use this technic to bezel an oval cabochon ? Thank you for your help
@Sidoniasbeadedjewelry9 жыл бұрын
Yes, definetely. Take a look at video, it could be helpful: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nL5-nrFmuZ3Meas.html
@datchagirl76629 жыл бұрын
Thank you Sidonia. Yes I watched it a few minutes ago and of course i found it quite appropriate to bezel my oval cabochon. But the technic you used for the round one seemed more interesting to me because it has the advantage to not cover to much the front of the cabochon. And that's just what I want it to be. The cabochon is having nice flowers painted on it. So I'd like the bezel to cover it the least as possible....That's why I wondered if I could use this technic
@datchagirl76629 жыл бұрын
Maybe I will do a mix of the two technics to have the oval shape bicone ring on the front and the netting at the back

Maybe I can help by writing them to you. I know Kelly, I've learnt a lot from her :-). Anyway, this was one of my first tutorials ever.
