You can still make a mechanically complex game while having gamemodes geared towards casuals. In this video, there's a huge amount of players and it's kind of a clusterfuck. The map seems to be made in way way to encourage very dense and narrow battles as well. Therefore each individual player's skill and effort is a lot less important and it becomes more of collective group effort. In a 5v5, a player contributes 20% of the team effort. In a 40v40, a player contributes only 2.5%. Some pro player could even have a KDR of 3, and it'd still be only 7.5%. EDIT: Actually I think they're playing against bots in the game so it doesn't even matter lol.

Zoran the Bear is an amazing voice actor. He does lots of little side jobs but I always recognise his voice with that fantastic delivery.

But the game doesn't allow ducking your head to dodge spears or arrows. So in a game you would be a sitting duck. But they could also have left a viewing slit.

Mordhau hyper nerfed shields a while ago, only good for larping in the game now.
