I could see these guys taking random pictures of hilarious moments of the Decepticons during battles and other moments. They’ll just stand around in the background and take photos and people will ask that “wait, who took this picture” question when a character goes through one of those flashbacks as they run through their photo album with dramatic music in the background.

Just gonna throw this out there, but the best way to have him hold his gun in Robot mode is actually to flip his hand back into his wrist, then peg the gun into the back of his hand. Fills in the arm hole, and gives him that "my arm transformed into the gun" look that always works.

I'm kinda glad they waited for Refraktor to this line because he's so basic they needed to get him just right. He's the OG Con army builder so the super nerds will by 10 of him. I think they missed the boat not baking in a way for robots to stand on his "vehicle" mode like a hoverboard.

Although, it was in Botcon 2016 when Reflector get toy by using CW Legends Class Shockwave mold with Reflector head design. And I got to agree with you Thew that while that G1 toy themed Refraktor set would be neat to have, I lean more for retail G1 cartoon designed Refraktor. *My kingdom for Siege Refraktor three times!*

I love how he is a basic robot. An actual robot, with no kibble, no weird legs, a good, square, well proportioned robot dude. With great posability. Sure, vehicle mode is blah, but the camera is cool. I did get the toy colour set, because I do not want to buy 3 identical bots, even though cartoon accuracy is nice, it's also boring. Now at least I have 3 very different characters. With accessories. :D BTW, that new leader Prime is perfection. No more need for an expensive MP. And Grapple too! Dare I say Inferno is next? I actually got the mail-away Reflector back in the day. I also have a partially filled in mail away form by my tiny child self I found wedged between pages of an old book...

I hadn't thought of this back when the video first came out, but the individual alt modes make pretty killer heavy artillery for larger figures. A larger figure like Astrotrain of Jetfire looks awesome holding them as massive guns.

Reflector is my favorite Transformer. I think it's more about his potential in my imagination rather than actual reality.

You know one bit of possibly intentional brilliance with Refractor's "Alt Mode", is that it is basically a canvas that you can dress up in possibly hundreds of ways thanks to all the pegs and ports, If I did not know any better this would be fine real-estate for 3rd party accessory packs since alone this toy is basically like a transforming skeleton.

Well, I had and was content with one. Now I need two more. By the way, thank you Thew, your reviews and the awesomeness of siege had made me start a collection
