It ended up being much easier than I expected!! Thought it would be more stressful crossing the border

when I took that road to the border in 2001 I saw the biggest pothole on the highway. It took up over half of the highway and literally had several big potholes within it!!! I am glad to see the roads have improved! Happy Travels

I was hoping to see how they make the traffic transition from a country that drives on the right to one that drives on the left. Still nice video guys.

Most people use hand bidet plus tissue(if any). Using water is much cleaner. WC toilets are western. The original asian toilets are squat toilets(like at villages). Because we felt it is dirty sitting on a seat used by so many people.

Using Water is truly clean..tissue is not 100% clean..western is so afraid of water..take bath once a week..that's why they need lots of perfume

@@Lebanon_Group that was long ago bro. I used to live in canada. I took bath once a week during winter. We have to understand the dry and cold weather in western countries compared to hot and humid in south east asia. The sweat came out from your feet. So need to clean the feet more.

@@TonyOi hole in the ground is traditional bro. Wait till you visit taiwan. The bloody tissue paper is not allowed to be thrown into the wc or hole. You need to dump the soiled tissue into a dustin in the toilet. The hole there is tiny, so it will clog up easily ! Be grateful dude. My mother visited xinjiang on an expensive tour before covid. Since long bus journeys are common due to the big province..the bloody toilet break or pit stops has no proper toilets. Damn disgusting. Another problem in china, some public toilets use just a drain with no partitioning. So you squat with an umbrella !!! Please be grateful bro. You cannot imagine the culture shock elsewhere. Of course in the cities, modern public toilet exist.

Hi Tony , Thanks for all the videos. They help a lot. I'm going to Siem Reap in 3 weeks. I am confused with the e-visa. Did you get the e-visa in the airport or you applied ahead ? The website said US$36 but with fee it end up close to US$100 also they required to purchase Covid insurance. Did it happened to you? We are fully vaccinated .
@TonyOi
@TonyOi Жыл бұрын
hey no. Its an evisa that was like again 36$. I mean you should always hve travel insurance to begin with anyways :P I always have travel insurance so it didn't really matter for me in terms of that extra costs. Make up a fake document lol the border agents don't really check anything besides visa and vaccination.

Most toilets in Cambodian rural areas are used water to clean and only in the cities are used toilet papers.

Hi Tony, it's a very helpful video, thanks. I'm going to Siem Reap in October . The land border US $25 , do you mean the HO bus service took you from the hotel to the immigration border? Do you have their number? And also when you reach the Thai immigration border where did you find the bus or you book ahead.

Hey! U prebook everything in the Cambodia side. It costed me 25$ to go from my hotel in Cambodia siem reap to a district just outside the city centre in Bangkok. U wear name tags which help people find and guide u. We didn’t need to book anything else once across the border in Thailand. I listed the company in the video there but u can also book via ur hotel very easily
