Siemens NX introduces Appearance Management in the latest release that will allow you to do just that by enabling the quick exploration of different concepts and variants. We know that the Visual BOM is typically different to the Design or Manufacturing BOM and this is where Appearance Management provides the ability to create and control the visual make up of your product irrespective of its complexity.
