What you've done for me here is you have taken me back some 30+ years. Back home to Jamaica walking through my grandmother's living room. It's Sunday morning and half the house is making ready for church. Loretta Lynn or maybe Patsy Clime is on the old dial radio. But, I think I'll take Sierra Ferrell with me this time round. Your voice is amazing, lady. You carry that kinda soul that bears good clean water and we all thirst so much for what you got. Thank you for this. Totally a fan and I just discovered you today!!!!

Wow! I can hear so many influences in her. If Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle had a little sister between them, it would be her. She also reminds me of a young Tanyia Tucker and the girl who did “I’ve got a brand new pair of rollerskates, you’ve got brand new key.”

I learned this song for the first time today. It was sung by a young girl from Elk City named Caroline Grace at a Downed Bikers Benefit… brought me to tears… beautiful song… we remembered a lot of fallen brothers and sisters today.
